India’s leading telecom service provider Reliance Jio continued to maintain its leads among telecom service providers during December 2020 with 20.2 Mbps download speed continues far ahead of its rival operators as usual as per TRAI MySpeed data.
Reliance Jio’s download speed came down from 20.8 Mbps in November 2020 to 20.2 Mbps in December 2020 while Vodafone maintained its download speed with 9.8 Mbps. Idea went from 8.8 Mbps in November 2020 to 8.9 Mbps in December 2020 while Airtel dropped from 8.0 Mbps to 7..8 Mbps download speed.

On the upload speed front, Vodafone led the race with 6.5 Mbps upload speed while Idea came second with 6 Mbps upload speed, up from 5.8 Mbps upload speed at the end of November 2020. Reliance Jio’s upload speed rose from 3.7 Mbps to 3.8 Mbps in December 2020 while Bharti Airtel’s upload speed rose from 4 Mbps to 4.1 Mbps in December 2020.
