Reliance Jio on Tuesday announced its partnership with the Indian file storage and sharing platform Digiboxx. The partnership will allow existing and new Jio customers to get extra 10GB cloud storage of Digiboxx.

Digiboxx currently provides 20GB of storage space, if any Jio customer registers for Digiboxx through the JioPhotos app on Jio Fiber STB they will receive an additional 10GB cloud storage at no extra cost.

Registered users can create secure folders, upload, and instantly share photos and videos from a smartphone, and save files of various formats in one place. Jio Set-top Box customers can add their DigiBoxx account to the JioPhotos app and store their personal data by enabling auto-sync and view everything on the big screen through the STB.

JioPhotos app comes pre-installed on every Jio Box. Users can link it with various different cloud services like Google Photos, JioCloud and also content shared on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram.

The app organizes all that data from different services and chronologically or by location to relive the memories. It also features facial recognition to group photos and videos.

“We are pleased to have DigiBoxx, a made-in-India storage platform, join us on this journey as we believe their offerings are secure, fast, intuitive, and world class. This integration would deliver an unparalleled user experience for all Jio users who are looking for extra storage solutions and now it’s easily accessible,” said Kiran Thomas, Chief Executive Officer, Jio Platforms Ltd.
