Reliance Jio allocated numbering level for Noida SDCA in Delhi LSA

Jio gets '311-319' wireline numbering level for Noida SDCA; '311' level allocated to Jio for Delhi SDCA withdrawn by DoT.

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) recently allocated numbering level for Basic services to Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited for Noida SDCA in Delhi LSA in consideration to the requests of Reliance Jio.

The Telecom Department had initially allocated numbering level ‘311’ for wireline services to Reliance Jio for Delhi SDCA in Delhi LSA. The numbering level was meant to be used by Reliance Jio for its Basic services.

The Telecom Department earlier this month allocated numbering level ‘311-319’ for wireline services for Noida SDCA in Delhi LSA to Reliance Jio for its Basic services. The earlier allocation of numbering level ‘311’ to Reliance Jio for Delhi SDCA in Delhi LSA was withdrawn with immediate effect by the Telecom Deparment.

In other news, DoT Monday allocated ACCESS-MSC code 92450-92459 to Reliance Jio for North East LSA to meet the demand of one million subscribers.
