Realme X7 Max 5G with Dimensity 1200 SoC and 120Hz AMOLED display launched in India

Touted to offer a 22 per cent faster CPU performance and a 25 per cent higher power efficiency compared to its predecessor.

Realme X7 Max 5G

Realme has launched a new smartphone Realme X7 Max 5G today expanding the existing Realme X7 series lineup. It is a rebranded version of Realme GT Neo that was launched in China back in March and the first smartphone in India to feature  MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor. 

Specifications

Realme X7 Max 5G comes with a 6.43-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED punch-hole display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, 2,400 x 1,080 pixels resolution, 91.7 per cent screen-to-body ratio, 1000nits max brightness and 100 per cent DCI-P3 wide colour gamut. It also has a Stainless Steel Vapour Cooling system that can reduce core temperature up to 15°C.

It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200 5G SoC based on a 6nm process and having up to 3.0GHz clock frequency. It has up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.

There is a triple camera setup at the back, consisting of a 64MP (f/1.8) Sony IMX682 primary sensor, an 8MP (f/2.3) ultra-wide-angle lens with 109-degrees FoV, and a 2MP (f/2.4) macro lens. On the front, you get a 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.5 lens.

This handset has dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio support and IPX4 water-resistant body. It packs a 4,500mAh battery with 50W SuperDart fast charging support and a 65W charger is bundled in the box. Realme claims that this handset can be charged to 50% in 16 minutes. The phone runs on Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11. 

In-display fingerprint sensor is provided and other sensors include a Magnetic induction sensor, light sensor, proximity sensor, Gyro-meter and acceleration sensor. Dual sim 5G (SA/NSA), 4G LTE, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 6, GPS, USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack are the connectivity options available.

Pricing and Availability

The Realme X7 Max 5G is priced at Rs. 26,999 for 8GB RAM + 128GB model and Rs. 29,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage option. It will be available in Asteroid Black, Mercury Silver, and Milky Way colour options. This smartphone’s first sale will begin on June 4 at 12 pm through Flipkart, Realme.com, and major offline retail stores.
