Realme on Thursday has launched the Realme GT 2 Pro smartphone as its latest premium flagship offering in India. This handset was first announced in China in January this year and later arrived in Europe in February.

The Realme GT 2 Pro flaunts a 6.7-inch 2K LTPO 2.0 AMOLED punch-hole panel with 1,440 x 3,216 pixels resolution, 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 525 PPI, 10-bit colour, 100 per cent P3 colour gamut, 1000Hz Turbocharged touch sampling rate, HDR10+ and 1,400nits of peak brightness.
The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and supports MEMC. For heat dissipation and keeping device temperature down, it is equipped with Realme’s Stainless Steel Vapour Cooling Max solution.
This handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and Adreno 730 GPU paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR55 RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
There is a triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor with OIS and EIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. At the front, there is a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
It packs a 5,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. It is equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor, Dolby Atmos, dual stereo speakers, and Hi-Res audio. The handset runs on Android 12 based Realme UI 3.0.
Connectivity options on the handset include 5G (10-gigabit), 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, 360-degree NFC, and a USB Type-C port. It measures 163.2 x 74.7 x 8.18mm in dimensions and weighs 189 grams.
Pricing and Availability
The Realme GT 2 Pro is priced at Rs. 49,999 for the 8GB + 128GB storage variant and Rs. 57,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model. It will be available in Paper Green, Paper White, and Steel Black colour options. The sale for this handset is set to begin at 12 pm on April 14 via Realme.com, Flipkart, and other retail stores.
