Realme on Monday has officially launched the Realme 9i smartphone in Vietnam. This is the company’s latest phone in the mid-range segment and the first handset in the 9-series lineup.
Specifications
The Realme 9i features a 6.6-inch punch-hole display with 2,400 x 1,080 pixels FHD+ resolution, 401 PPI pixel density, 480 nits peak brightness and an adjustable refresh rate that can go from 30Hz to 90Hz.
It is powered by the octa-core 6nm Snapdragon 680 chipset paired with 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 1TB via microSD card. There is also an additional 5GB extendable RAM that uses internal storage.
The camera module comprises a 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 2MP secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture and 2MP portrait lens having f/2.4 aperture. The front side features a 16MP selfie camera that has an f/2.1 aperture.
This device packs a 5,000mAh battery that has 33W fast charging support and for security, there is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It runs on Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 out of the box. Connectivity features include a dual-SIM card slot, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port.
Pricing and Availability
The Realme 9i is priced at VND 6,290,000 (about Rs. 20,500) in Vietnam for the single 6GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration and comes in Prism Black and Prism Blue colour options. It can be purchased in Vietnam through Cellphones and Thegioididong portal. Realme has not yet revealed if or when this smartphone will be launched in other countries, however, it was recently spotted on the Realme India store indicating the launch in that country may be imminent.
This should not be bought for more than 13-14K for any variant. Get Redmi Note 10 instead or Get Redmi Note phone with this chipset. It will be better choice in my frank opinion.
