Realme has launched the Realme 7 5G smartphone at a virtual event in the UK. The phone comes with a hole-punch Full-HD+ display and runs on Android 10 OS with Realme UI 1.0 out of the box. Realme 7 5G supports Dolby Atmos technology with Hi-Res audio quality.

Realme 7 5G specifications

Realme 7 5G features a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) IPS display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by an octa-core (2 x 2.4 GHz Cortex-A76 & 6 x 2.0 GHz Cortex-A55) MediaTek Dimensity 800U (7nm) chipset paired with Mali-G57 MC3 GPU, 6GB LPDDR4x RAM, and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. It also supports microSD cards of up to 256GB.

In terms of optics, Realme 7 5G comes with a quad-rear camera setup of 48 MP f/1.8 primary sensor, 8 MP f/2.3 119-degree ultrawide-angle lens, 2 MP f/2.4 macro sensor, and a 2 MP f/2.4 monochrome sensor. On the front, the phone has a 16 MP f/2.1 housed in the hole-punch display. Realme 7 5G includes a non-removable 5000mAh battery that supports 30W Dart charge fast charging technology. It can charge the phone from 0 to 50 percent in 26 minutes and from 0 to 100 in 65 minutes.

Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.1, 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G LTE, GPS/ A-GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors include proximity, magnetometer, gyroscope, accelerometer, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. The phone measures 162.2 × 75.1 × 9.1mm and weighs 195 grams.

Pricing and availability

The Realme 7 5G is priced at GBP 279 (around Rs. 27,400) in the UK for the single 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The phone comes in a Baltic Blue color option and will go on sale in the UK starting November 27. It will be available for purchase during the Black Friday sale until November 30 for a discounted price of GBP 229 (around Rs. 22,500). The company is yet to reveal the availability details of the smartphone in other markets.
