RailWire FTTH users can now use broadband plans across 6105 railway stations on RailTel’s Wi-Fi network

RailWire home broadband users are not required to buy prepaid Wi-Fi plans at the railway station. Instead, they just need to enter the RailWire User ID and Password on the Captive Portal.

RailTel has announced that RailWire subscribers can now use their home broadband plans on RailTel’s high-speed Wi-Fi network across 6105 railway stations in India. RailWire home broadband users are not required to buy prepaid Wi-Fi plans at the railway station; instead, they can use their RailWire Fiber To The Home (FTTH) subscription.

To use RailTel’s Wi-Fi network, users need to switch on the Wi-Fi on their smartphone and connect it with the RailWire SSID. Then, they can proceed with clicking on the hyperlink provided on the Captive Portal (log-in screen) and enter the RailWire User ID and Password. Once connected, users can enjoy high-speed internet and watch OTT content on any 6105 railway stations in India.

Recently, RailWire launched the SATRANG broadband plans that offer up to 15 premium OTT apps, including Sony Liv, Zee5, Voot Select, and Disney+ Hotstar. According to the company, more than ten lacs unique users access the RailWire public Wi-Fi network at railway stations every day. RailWire currently has over 4.8 lakh subscribers across India.
