Vi (formerly Vodafone Idea) has recently amended its App/Web exclusive offer in order to make the promotional offer on its Rs 249, Rs 399, and Rs 599 unlimited data plans ‘App Only’.
The change has happened recently with Vi customers recharging through Vi’s web portal with aforesaid plans unlikely to get the promotional data. Vi however continues to provide the App/Web exclusive offer on Rs 149 and Rs 219 unlimited plans apart from Rs 49 and Rs 79 combo packs.

Vi continues to offer 5GB free promotional data on Rs 249, Rs 399, and Rs 599 unlimited plans recharge made through Vi’s mobile app which is valid for 28 days. The benefits of the rest eligible prepaid plans remain unchanged.
Vi had back in June rolled out the App/Web exclusive offer wherein it started providing extra data on select prepaid plans. The promotional data would be available on eligible recharges which were done either through Web or through Vi’s mobile app.
