Amazon Prime Video India announced its new original film Putham Pudhu Kaalai, an anthology of five short films directed by Sudha Kongara, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Suhasini Mani Ratman, Rajiv Menon, and Karthik Subbaraj. Filmed entirely during the pandemic, the film features stories about hope and new beginnings.
The film directed by Irudhi Suttru fame Sudha Kongara titled “Ilamai Idho Idho”, stars Jayaram Kalidas Jayaram, Kalyani Priyadarshan, and Urvashi. Gautham Vasudev Menon directed “Avarum Naanum/Avalum Naanum”, stars M.S. Bhaskar and Ritu Varma. Actress turned director Suhasini Mani Ratnam directed “Coffee, Anyone?” starring Anu Hasan and Sruthi Haasan.
Kandukondain Kandukondain fame Rajiv Menon directed “Reunion” starring Andrea Jeremiah, Leela Sampson, and Sikkhil Gurucharan. Karthick Subbaraj known for his directing credits on Jigarthanda and Petta directed “Miracle” starring Bobby Simha and Muthu Kumar.

Putham Pudhu Kaalai will be releasing on October 2 and will be available on Amazon Prime Video in India and wherever available. Amazon Prime Video India also scheduled exclusive releases of Nishabdham and Soorarai Potturu in October.
