Ortel FTTH launches 5 TB plan at Rs 1699 per month with 250 Mbps speed

Odisha based broadband service provider Ortel Communications has launched a new Fiber To The Home (FTTH) plan for its FTTH users in Bhuvaneshwar and Cuttack. The new FTTH plan provides 5 TB of data monthly.

Ortel’s new ‘FTTH 250 Mbps’ plan provides 5000 GB of monthly data at a speed of 250 Mbps. The plan has a monthly rental of Rs 1699. The plan was launched last week. Ortel conceived the plan last month when it was reviewing its Cuttack launch preparations.

Ortel offers 5 FTTH plans currently in Odisha. ‘FTTH 100 Mbps’ plan offers 1000 GB of monthly data at a speed of 100 Mbps. The monthly rental of the plan is Rs 1199.

‘FTTH 50 Mbps’ offers 500 GB of monthly data at a speed of 50 Mbps. The monthly rental of the plan is Rs 799. ‘FTTH 25 Mbps’ offers 250 GB of monthly data at a speed of 25 Mbps. The monthly rental of the plan is Rs 499.

Ortel also launched an unlimited FTTH plan at the end of February. It’s ‘FTTH 25 Mbps UL’ plan offers unlimited monthly data at a speed of 25 Mbps. The monthly rental of the plan is Rs 799. It is unclear if these rates are inclusive of taxes are not.

Ortel Communications charges a one-time installation charge of Rs 2000. It recently expanded its FTTH services with its launch in Cuttack. The launch in Cuttack is currently only in select areas and will be expanded further. Ortel is also looking to activate all of its fiber nodes in Bhuvaneshwar soon.
