Oppo has unveiled the Oppo Ace 2 at an online event in China. Oppo Ace 2 is the successor to the last year launched phone Oppo Ace Reno. The company has removed the Reno brand name. The phone comes in three color options- Aurora Silver, Moon Rock Grey, and Fantasy Purple.

Oppo Ace 2 features a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, HDR 10+, and brightness up to 500 nits. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 (7 nm+) chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. The device has an aluminum frame body, glass front, and glass back with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Oppo Ace 2 comes with a quad-rear camera setup of 48 MP f/1.7 main camera, 8 MP f/2.2 ultrawide, 2 MP depth sensor, and 2 MP f/2.4 monochrome camera. For selfies, the device has a 16 MP f/2.4 camera on the punch-hole display. The rear camera supports 2160p recording at 30/60fps and 1080p recording at 30/60/240fps. The front camera supports 1080p recording at 30fps.
Oppo Ace 2 is fueled by a non-removable 4000 mAh battery that supports SuperVOOC 2.0 technology. Oppo claims, with 65W fast charging, the device can reach 100% in 30 minutes, and with 40W fast wireless charging, the device can reach 100% in 56 minutes. The phone also supports 10W wireless reverse charging technology.
Oppo Ace 2 runs Android 10 based ColorOS 7.1 out of the box. For connectivity features, the device supports Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band wifi, 4G LTE, 5G, USB Type-C port for charging, and USB On-The-Go. The device has an optical fingerprint sensor located under the display.

Oppo Ace 2 will be available to purchase in China starting April 20, 2020. The phone is priced at CNY 3,999 (around Rs. 43,000) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, CNY 4,399 (around Rs. 47,500) for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, and CNY 4,599 (around Rs. 49,600) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant.
