HMD Global has launched its latest budget smartphone Nokia C30 in a strategic partnership with Jio in India that comes with benefits of the special JioExclusive program. Touted to be the most powerful C-series smartphone, it boasts a large display, 13MP dual camera and provides up to three days of battery life, a clean Android experience.

The Nokia C30 features a 6.82-inch HD+ display with 1600 × 720 pixels resolution, 400 nits peak brightness, 70 per cent NTSC colour gamut, waterdrop style notch and 20:9 aspect ratio. The dual rear camera setup includes a 13MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor while on the front you get a 5MP shooter.
The handset is powered by an octa-core Unisoc SC9863A processor clocked at 1.6GHz paired with an IMG8322 GPU. It has up to 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded further up to 256GB using a microSD card.
It runs on Android 11 (Go Edition) and has a 6,000mAh battery that supports standard 10W charging. The fingerprint sensor is mounted on the back panel. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Pricing, availability and offers
The Nokia C30 smartphone is priced at Rs 10,999 for the 3GB + 32GB variant and Rs 11,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant. It is available in two colour options- Green and White and is up for sale across leading offline retail stores, e-commerce platforms and Nokia.com.
Under the JioExclusive program, one sim slot will be locked to Jio and buyers will get an instant price discount of 10% up to Rs. 1,000. Customers can avail the offer at participating retail stores or through the MyJio app. Users can self-enrol in this program via the MyJio app within 15 days of activating the new phone. The price benefits will be credited to successfully enrolled customers’ bank accounts within 30 minutes. Apart from cash benifits, Jio will also give brand vouchers worth Rs. 4,000 from Myntra, PharmEasy, Oyo, and MakeMyTrip.
