HMD Global unveiled the Nokia 2.3 smartphone at an event in Cairo, Egypt. The price of Nokia 2.3 is 109 euros (around Rs. 8600). It is the latest budget Android One smartphone from Nokia. The phone is available in three colour variants – Cyan Green, Sand, and Charcoal.
Nokia 2.3 features a 6.2-inch HD+ IPS capacitive touchscreen. The display has a waterdrop notch and 19:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by MediaTek MT6761 Helio A22 (12 nm) chipset. It comes with 2 GB Ram and 32 GB internal storage. It also has a micro SD card slot that allows users to upgrade storage memory up to 512 GB.
The phone comes with a dual-rear camera setup of 13 MP main camera and 2 MP depth sensor. It has a 5 MP front-facing camera. It supports biometric face unlock. The device comes with a dedicated Google Assistant button. The phone is equipped with a 4000 mAh non-removable lithium-polymer battery. It supports 5W charging. Nokia claims that the phone can last up to 2 days on a single charge.
The phone runs Android Pie (9.0) out of the box, but Nokia promised an Android 10 update soon. The phone will receive guaranteed two years of major software upgrades and three years of monthly security updates. Nokia hasn’t said anything about global availability or in India, but it is likely to arrive in India soon.
