Californian streaming giant Netflix today introduced the Hindi user interface on TV, web, and mobile applications. This is the first Indian localized version introduced by the streamer after four and a half years of its launch in India. The Hindi interface is available in each part like signup, payments, title, description, and search rows as per the streamer.
Users can switch to Hindi Interface under Manage Profiles > Language on Netflix website. As the interface is profile-based, each profile interface on a single Netflix account can have a different language. The Hindi user interface option is available for users globally.
“Delivering a great Netflix experience is as important to us as creating great content. We believe the new user interface will make Netflix even more accessible and better suit members who prefer Hindi.
Monika Shergill, Netflix India’s VP of Content
Surprisingly homegrown platforms like Disney+ Hotstar, Jio Cinema doesn’t offer full local language user interfaces apart from Disney+ Hotstar’s dynamically published local language texts on mobile application based on the content consumed on the platform.
