Disney+ Hotstar has lined up twenty-two new and returning titles for the Premium tier this December. After debuting worldwide via Premium Access on Disney+, Disney’s Mulan is making its way to all Disney+ subscribers on December 4. The film will be available in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages making it the first Disney+ exclusive title to be made available for VIP subscribers.
After moving Mulan, Hamilton, and The One and Only Ivan, Disney has moved the most anticipated Pixar film Soul straight to Disney+ which will be premiering on December 25. The film directed by Oscar-winning director and Pixar’s COO Pete Docter (“Inside Out,” “Up”) is about Joe Gardner (voiced by Jamie Foxx), a middle-school band teacher who gets the chance of a lifetime to play at the best jazz club in town. But with a misstep, he will find himself in The Great Before where he met precocious soul 22 (voiced by Tina Fey) and teams with her to return to his life.
Apart from the blockbusters, Walt Disney Studios has lined up two Disney+ Original films in Godmothered, Safety on December 4th and 11th respectively. Godmothered is a fantasy comedy film starring Jillian Bell and Isla Fisher which is about a fairy in training who wants to stay true to her profession by helping an adult woman to her happily ever after. Safety is about a college football player Ray McElrathbey, who had to take care of his brother on campus away from his drug-addicted mother.
