Motorola on Friday unveiled two new entry-level smartphones in the US, Moto E (2020) and Moto G Fast. The Moto G Fast is a new model in the Moto G series while the Moto E (2020) is the seventh-generation model of Moto E series.
Moto G Fast Specifications
Moto G Fast has a 6.4-inch Max Vision IPS LCD with 720×1560 pixels resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by Snapdragon 665 processor paired with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.
It has hole-punch display and fingerprint sensor mounted on the back. The phone comes with 4,000 mAh battery and 10W charging support through USB Type-C.
The Moto G Fast is having a triple rear camera setup that houses a 16-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel sensor that has a macro lens. For selfies, the phone houses an 8-megapixel front camera.
Moto E (2020) Specifications
Moto E 2020 comes with a 6.2-inch HD+ Max Vision display of 720×1,520 pixels resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. The phone has Snapdragon 632 SoC, paired with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage.
Camera-wise, it has a dual rear-facing camera with 13 MP primary sensor and 2 MP depth sensor along with a 5 MP front camera for selfies. This smartphone has a fingerprint sensor on the back and 3,550 mAh battery that supports 5W charging.
Pricing
Motorola has priced the Moto G Fast at $199.99 (about Rs. 15,100). The phone is available in Pearl White colour option. While the Moto E (2020) price is set at $149.99 (about Rs. 11,300), it has only Midnight Blue colour option. Both these phones will be available to purchase in the US starting 12th June, with their pre-orders already started. However, details about their global launch are not revealed yet.
