Motorola has launched the affordable Moto G24 Power smartphone in India. The phone features a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS display, MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, up to 8GB of RAM, and a 6000mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. Further, the Moto G24 comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. It runs on the Android 14 operating system out of the box with My UX customization.

The Moto G24 Power features a 6.6-inch HD+ (1612 x 720 Pixels) IPS display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 90Hz refresh rate, and up to 500 nits of peak brightness. The phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 (12nm) chipset paired with ARM Mali-G52 GPU, up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 onboard storage. It also supports a microSD card of up to 1TB via a dedicated slot for expandable storage.
In terms of optics, the Moto G24 Power sports a dual rear camera setup of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. For taking selfies and making video calls, the phone has a 16-megapixel front sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The phone packs a non-removable 6000mAh battery that supports 30W turbocharging technology.
Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, dual 4G VoLTE, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors include an accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light, proximity, magnetometer, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. Lastly, the phone measures 163.49mm x 74.53mm x 8.99mm and weighs 197 grams.
Pricing and availability
The Moto G24 Power is priced at Rs. 8,999 for the base 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, while the top variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage costs Rs. 9,999. The company is offering a Rs. 750 exchange bonus. The phone comes in Glacier Blue and Ink Blue color options. It will be available via Flipkart, Motorola website, and retail stores in India from February 7, 2024.
