Motorola has launched the most affordable 5G smartphone the Moto G 5G Plus in the UK and Europe on Tuesday while markets like Saudi Arabia and UAE will see the launch in future.

Specification

The Moto G 5G Plus features a 6.7-inch full HD+ display with 1080 × 2520 pixels resolution and 90Hz refresh rate with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The panel is HDR 10 compliant and boasts a 21:9 aspect ratio.

It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 processor paired with up to 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage which can be expanded through a dedicated microSD card up to 1 TB.

The device has a quad camera setup on the back inside a square module consisting of a 48 MP main sensor, 8 MP ultrawide shooter, 5 MP macro lens and a 2 MP depth sensor. On the front you get 16 MP primary and 8 MP ultrawide selfie cameras inside dual punch holes.

This smartphone packs a 5,000 mAh battery under the hood which can last up to 2 days. It supports 20 W TurboPower fast charging through the USB Type-C port. Fingerprint sensor is mounted on the side and Face Unlock is supported. 

Connectivity options include 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS (L1+L5), GLONASS, Galileo, NFC, and 3.5mm headphone jack. There is also a dedicated button for Google Assistant. 

Pricing

The Moto G 5G Plus comes with a price tag of EUR 349 (around Rs. 29,400) for the 4 GB + 64 GB storage variant and the 6 GB + 128 GB model costs EUR 399 (around Rs. 33,700). It is launched in a single Surfing Blue colour option and will be available in Europe from today. This smartphone won’t be launched in the US.
