After two weeks from its initial announcement, Microsoft has finally launched the new and refreshed Surface Pro X flagship 2-in-1 laptop with SQ2 processor in India. It is having a 13-inch PixelSense Display with 2880 x 1920 pixels resolution and pen input support. It’s a detachable tablet-cum-laptop, weighing 774 grams.
The laptop is powered by Microsoft SQ2 processor (co-developed by Qualcomm), Adreno 690 GPU paired with 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 512GB M.2 2230 SSD. Microsoft claims that it is the thinnest, lightest, most powerful, most connected 2-in-1 laptop ever and can provide up to 15 hours of battery life. It sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon X24 LTE modem for 4G connectivity and has nanoSIM and eSIM slots.
Other connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS/ GLONASS, and two USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 2 ports. It also includes 10MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, and ambient light sensors. For charging a Surface Connect port for charging as well as a is present and you also get a pogo-pin connector for attaching the magnetic Signature Keyboard.
Pricing and Availability
The Surface Pro X will be available in 2 variants in India, the 16GB + 256GB storage option comes with a price tag of Rs 1,49,999 while the 16GB + 512GB variant will cost Rs 1,78,999. It comes in 2 colour options- Platinum and Black and available for sale via local commercial authorised resellers across the country starting today.
