Xiaomi has launched its new affordable fitness tracker dubbed Mi Smart Band 4C in Malaysia. The tracker is said to be a rebranded version of Redmi Band sharing almost all of its functions including screen size.
The Mi Smart Band 4C comes with a 1.08-inch TFT colour display having 128 x 220 pixels resolution and up to 200 nits screen brightness. It has a heart rate sensor, sleep tracking, step counter, calorie counter and a sedentary reminder.
The band runs on a 130 mAh battery which can last up to 14 days in a single charge. It can be fully charged in 2 hours through the built-in USB port. This band is waterproof up to 5 ATM.
To control the music on the phone and get app notifications, calls there are Music control, incoming call alerts & app alert functions. It can track five different sports, including fast walking, treadmill running, outdoor running, cycling and regular exercise.
The Mi Smart Band 4C is listed on e-commerce platform Shopee at MYR 79 (around Rs. 1,400) with a 20% discount over its original price of MYR 99 (around Rs 1,750). As of now, there are no details about the availability of this band in other markets.
