Reliance Jio today announced the launch of Rs 598 Jio Cricket Plan further boosting its Jio Cricket prepaid plan portfolio ahead of the Dream11 IPL 2020 which is on the horizon. The prepaid plan will offer data, SMS, and voice benefits along with 1 year access to Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription.
Rs 598 Jio Cricket Plan will offer 2GB high-speed data per day, unlimited on-net voice calling, 1 year subscription of Disney+ Hotstar VIP, along with a validity of 56 days. The prepaid plan will likely offer 2,000 minutes FUP of off-net calling, 100 SMS per day, along with complimentary subscription to Jio apps.
The plan is seemingly a modified version of Jio’s Rs 444 prepaid plan which has been bundled with Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription. The plan is Rs 1 cheaper than Rs 599 prepaid plan but offers 28 days less validity given the bundling of 1 year Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription.
Jio now has multiple prepaid plans with Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription bundled to watch Live IPL matches covering 1 month, 2 months, 3 months, and 1 year validity with different telecom benefits.
Jio is currently offering 3 Jio Cricket Plans with voice benefits included namely Rs 401 plan, Rs 598 plan, Rs 777 plan, and Rs 2599 plan. It is separately offering Rs 499 data add-on which has a daily data cap similar to the above-prepaid plans. The last set of Jio Cricket Plans are Rs 612 data add-on, Rs 1004 data add-on, Rs 1206 data add-on, and Rs 1208 data add-on with the later 3 offering bulk data without any daily data cap.
