Reliance Jio has over the past few years set a trend of launching special New Year offers and it has kept the tradition alive this year as well, with the launch of the Happy New Year 2022 offer.
Under this offer, Jio is providing an extended validity of 29 days on the Rs 2545 annual recharge plan which is in addition to its existing 336 days validity. For the unaware, the Rs 2545 plan provides a high-speed data entitlement of 1.5 GB/day along with unlimited voice and 100 local and national SMS/day.
This plan was initially launched with a denomination of Rs 2020 for New Year 2020 and later hiked to Rs 2121 for New Year 2021 and after the latest price hike where Jio increased the recharge prices by 20% across the board, the same plan is now available for Rs 2545 with the same 336-day validity.
The Happy New year 2022 offer is currently showing as a banner in the My Jio app for select users, though the web portal still reflects the existing validity of 336 days. As per the banner, the offer is available for a week up to 2nd Jan 2022. Users recharging with this plan during the offer period will get 336 days validity immediately and the additional 29 days validity will be added to their account in Jan 2022.
