Airtel launches Rs 666 recharge plan with unlimited voice, 1.5 GB per day

The plan offers 1.5 GB per day with 77 days validity, as opposed to the 84 days validity provided by Jio.

Bharti Airtel has launched a new recharge plan for its prepaid subscribers pan India, which offers unlimited voice calls along with a high-speed data allotment of 1.5 GB per day. Upon exhausting the daily high-speed quota, the subscribers will be able to browse the net at 64 Kbps speed. The plan comes with a validity of 77 days and also includes a bunch of add-on offerings.

The other benefits of this new plan include a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime video mobile edition, a free annual online study course by Shaw Academy, Apollo 24/7 circle for 3 months, Rs 100 cashback on FastTag, Free access to Airtel Hello tunes and wynk music.

This plan by Airtel is in direct competition with the Rs 666 plan by Vi which offers the same unlimited voice calling, 1.5 GB/day high-speed data and 100 SMS/day with a 77 days validity. The difference lies in only the add-on benefits, Vi plan comes with Binge All Night, Data Delight Offer, Weekend Data Rollover, and free access to Vi Movies and TV.

In comparison the Jio Rs 666 prepaid recharge plan provides unlimited voice calling, 1.5 GB/day high-speed data, 100 SMS/day but thevalidity is 84 days which means Jio offers an additional week of validity compared to Airtel and Vi for the same plan denomination. The Jio recharge plan comes bundled with Jio TV, Jio Cinema, Jio Security and Jio Cloud access.
