HFCL rolling out 4G OFC network across Northern India for Reliance Jio

Domestic telecom gear manufacturer HFCL Limited is currently engaged in rolling out 4G OFC Network services for Reliance Jio across Northern India, the company said in an Investor Presentation earlier this week. The company notably is one of the largest telecom project service provider for Reliance Jio.

HFCL Limited has also deployed Fiber-to-home network connecting approximately 3.5 million home customers in 207 cities of Northern India for Reliance Jio. The company last year had said that it was engaged in laying FTTX network for Reliance Jio in around 300 cities and supplying an entire range of fiber optic cable for FTTH in a large volume to Reliance Jio. HFCL Limited separately has successfully completed deployment of 8000 kilometres of OFC network in Punjab and connected 3200 villages by GPON network. In Jharkhand, about 1800 villages are set to be connected by GPON network wherein 8000 kms of OFC network is being laid out.

HFCL is also supplying fiber optic cables in Maharashtra, Telangana, and Chattisgarh apart from deploying networks in Punjab & Jharkhand.
