Google launched the Pixel Watch at the Made by Google event on Thursday. The watch features a circular domed design, a stainless-steel body, Exynos 9110 SoC paired with a Cortex M33 coprocessor, ECG tracker, heart-rate sensor, and blood oxygen sensor, and can resist water up to 50 meters deep. According to Google, the Pixel Watch can deliver up to 24 hours of battery life on a single charge.

The Google Pixel Watch features a 320 PPI AMOLED Always-on circular display with a DCI-P3 color gamut and up to 1000 nits of peak brightness. The watch is powered by an Exynos 9110 chipset paired with 2GB of SDRAM and 32GB of eMMC flash storage. It runs on WearOS 3.5 out of the box and supports Google Maps, Google Assistant, Fitbit health and fitness, YouTube Music, and Google Wallet.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ GLONASS/ BeiDou/ Galileo, and NFC. It is compatible with Android 8.0 or newer devices. Sensors include an accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light, altimeter, magnetometer, optical heart rate, ECG tracker, and blood oxygen sensor. Additionally, the watch supports Emergency SOS and International emergency calling features.
Pricing and availability
The Google Pixel Watch is priced at USD 349.99 (around Rs. 28,700) for the Bluetooth variant, while the LTE variant costs USD 399.99 (around Rs. 32,800). The watch comes in a Champagne Gold case with Hazel Active band, a Matte Black case with Obsidian Active band, and a Polished Silver case with Chalk Active band color options. It is available for pre-order in the United States and will go on sale starting October 13, 2022. The company hasn’t shared any details about the availability of the Pixel Watch in India.
