Google has launched the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro smartphones at its Made by Google 2023 hardware launch event. The Pixel 8 features a 6.2-inch full-HD+ OLED display, while the Pixel 8 Pro comes with a 6.7-inch quad-HD+ LTPO OLED display. Both smartphones are powered by a Google Tensor G3 processor with a Titan M2 security chip and run on the Android 14 operating system out of the box. According to Google, the Pixel 8 series will receive up to seven years of software updates.

The Google Pixel 8 features a 6.2-inch full-HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, up to 2000 nits of peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The phone is powered by a Google Tensor G3 processor paired with Titan M2 security chip, Immortalis-G715s MC10 GPU, 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage.

The Google Pixel 8 is priced at Rs. 75,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, while the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model costs Rs. 82,999. It comes in Obsidian, Hazel, and Rose colors. On the other hand, the Google Pixel 8 Pro is priced at Rs. 1,06,999 for the sole 128GB variant. It comes in Obsidian and Bay colors. These phones are currently available for pre-order and will be available for purchase via Flipkart starting October 12, 2023.
