Google today announced that it has launched new prepaid plans for YouTube Premium and YouTube Music Premium in India. Users in India can now purchase prepaid plans by paying an upfront cost either for one-month or three-month. Users can top-up anytime. Prepaid plans are currently available on Android and Web-only. Users can also upgrade from a YouTube Music Premium membership to a YouTube Premium membership on a prepaid plan.
YouTube Music Premium costs Rs. 109 for one month and Rs. 309 for three months. YouTube Premium costs Rs. 139 for one month and Rs. 399 for three months. YouTube Premium also includes YouTube Music Premium.
In addition to the newly launched prepaid plans, a monthly subscription plan is already available. Monthly Subscription plans cost Rs. 129 per month for YouTube Premium and Rs. 99 per month for YouTube Music Premium. A one-month free trial is available for new users. Users are automatically charged every month. Users can cancel or pause premium membership anytime.
You can purchase YouTube Premium membership using Google Pay balance or with debit or credit card.
YouTube Music Premium offers ad-free music, download any song for offline playback, listen to music in the background while accessing other apps.
YouTube Premium offers all the benefits of YouTube Music Premium. You also get access to YouTube Originals library, ad-free videos, download more videos and play videos in picture-in-picture mode or in background.
On March 12, 2019, Google launched YouTube Premium and YouTube Music Premium in India with an introductory offer of a three-month free trial.
