The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) recently allocated MSC codes to telecommunications service provider Reliance Jio for mobile services. The allocation of MSC codes came on 29th March in response to the request by the telecom operator.

The Telecom Department has allocated 92810-92819 ACCESS-MSC code to Reliance Jio for Andhra Pradesh LSA. The allocated MSC code will allow the telecom operator to meet the demand of one million subscribers.

The allocated MSC code series can be used by the telecom operator except for the ported out subscribers if any of Tata Teleservices Limited.

The Department had recently allocated fresh MSC codes to Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited for UP West, UP East, Tamil Nadu, and Bihar LSA to meet the demand of one million subscribers each across the four telecom circles.
