Disney+ Hotstar October 2021: Oh Manapenne, Sanak, Succession, Just Beyond, Insecure and more

Disney+ Hotstar India has another strong month in terms of content after a strong September line-up. On the film side, the streamer has three movies lined up for their Multiplex initiative. The Tamil horror-comedy, Lift and the Hindi romantic film Shiddat starring  Radhika Madan and Sunny Kaushal are scheduled to stream from October 1 and the Hindi action entertainer Sanak featuring Vidyut Jhammal in the lead role on October 15 in time for holidays along with the Tamil remake of Telugu blockbuster Pelli Choopulu, Oh Manapenne premiering sometime this month.

On the television side, the streamer has returning seasons of hit ABC medical drama Grey’s Anatomy and investigative drama Big Sky on October 1. From the Disney+ side, the stream is set to premiere all episodes of Just Beyond, an anthology horror-comedy series based on the works of R.L.Stine in time for Halloween on October 13. The long-awaited comedy by Taika Waititi, the Reservation Dogs is scheduled to premiere on October 2 after missing its premiere date earlier last month. On the non-fiction side, the platform is set to premiere Get Out Alive with Bear Grylls from National Geographic on October 2 and the docuseries, Among the Stars on October 6.

From the premium cabler HBO, the streamer has set the returning season of the Emmy winning drama series Succession on October 18 and the returning seasons of comedies Curb Your Enthusiasm and Insecure on October 25. The streamer also has newer episodes of the FX dramas Impeachment: American Crime Story, American Horror Story: Double Feature, the comedy What We Do in the Shadows and Hulu’s comedy Only Murders in the Building along with the ABC and FOX shows produced by Disney TV Studios.
