* WWE announced that Rusev will defend the WWE United States Championship against Titus O’Neil on the July 4th edition of RAW this Monday night.

** SPOILERS ** WWE SmackDown Tapings For This Week

* WWE Champion Dean Ambrose kicks off SmackDown as the special guest ring announcer for Jey Uso vs. Seth Rollins
* Seth Rollins defeated Jey Uso. Ambrose trolled Rollins on the mic and made some funny announcements during the match to great reactions. Rollins won a lengthy match with a Pedigree. Ambrose and Rollins had words after the match. Ambrose called Rollins a jackass and Ambrose rushed the ring but Rollins ran away
* Zack Ryder defeated Sheamus with the diving elbow drop
* Tom Phillips interviews Ryder on the ramp and he says he has his momentum back, then challenges Rusev for the WWE United States Title
* Rusev is interviewed backstage by JoJo but he dismisses Ryder as a legit challenger. Apparently he will defend on Monday's RAW. Rusev with another anti-American speech
* Becky Lynch comes out for a match but
Natalya attacks from behind. Natalya beats her down at ringside and applies a Sharpshooter to big heat. Referees finally get her off and Becky is helped to the back
* Sitdown interview with Xavier Woods. He talks about his fear of The Wyatt Family and says he will go to their compound with The New Day
* Enzo Amore and Big Cass come out to talk about saving John Cena on RAW. They're sending a message to The Club, to stop them from attacking Cena and everyone on the roster. AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson come out with heel promos and comment on Cena not being here tonight. They threaten to beat up Enzo and Cass. Enzo roasts them after they call Cass a "butt nugget" and AJ challenges Enzo to a match.
* AJ Styles defeated Enzo Amore. Styles won a good match with the Styles Clash. There was some action on the outside between Cass and The Club
* Styles challenges Enzo and Cass to find a partner for a six-man later tonight, which may be the dark main event
* Chris Jericho is backstage looking for his blue scarf. Kevin Owens is wearing it and they have words. This was said to be a funny segment but kind of weird seeing Owens showing a humorous side on TV
* Kalisto vs. WWE Intercontinental Champion
The Miz is made after Kalisto takes credit for throwing potato salad at Maryse on RAW
* The Miz defeats Kalisto in a decent match with a Skull Crushing Finale
* They aired the same Bob Backlund -
Darren Young vignette from RAW
* Renee Young interviews Sasha Banks backstage. Dana Brooke and WWE Women's Champion Charlotte interrupt and Sasha vs. Dana is made for RAW
* Sami Zayn defeated Chris Jericho with Kevin Owens on commentary. The "ole!" chants started early and there were several near falls. The action went outside of the ring and Owens threw a drink at Sami, then Sami threw Jericho at Owens. Sami fought off a distraction from Owens and got the pin on Jericho with a roll-up. After the match, Jericho interrupted Sami's celebration with a Codebreaker. Owens then destroyed Sami and hit a pop-up powerbomb to end the show

6. Dean Ambrose vs. Kevin Owens – No Contest: Seth Rollins was on commentary and interferes within a matter of minutes. This brings out Sami Zayn who helps Ambrose clear the ring. Jojo announces that this is now a tag match.

– Seth Rollins & Kevin Owens vs. Dean Ambrose & Sami Zayn: Seth Rollins scored the pinfall win for his team after hitting the Pedigree on Zayn.

– After the match, Rollins challenged Ambrose to come back and fight him alone. Ambrose runs back down to the ring but Rollins rolls out to the floor. Owens and Rollins then hit the ring together, but Ambrose throws Owens to the outside then hits the Dirty Deeds on Rollins.

WWE SmackDown And Draft Results

Pre Show

- The WWE SmackDown and Draft Kickoff pre-show opens with Renee Young, Lita,
Booker T and Corey Graves. They hype tonight's big event. In addition to Seth Rollins vs. WWE Champion Dean Ambrose, we will also see John Cena vs. Luke Gallows tonight. We go back to RAW and get a replay of the General Managers being introduced.

The panel hypes the WWE Draft more before going backstage to Ambrose and Tom Phillips. Ambrose says he doesn't believe in draws and is confident going into his rematch against Rollins. We get a look back at the controversial RAW ending and more discussion from the panel. We get more hype for tonight's show and Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte and Dana Brooke in a Handicap Match is announced.

More discussion from the panel on tonight's Draft. Xavier Woods vs. Bray Wyatt is announced for SmackDown. Renee shows us some of the most shocking Draft moments from over the years. Tom is backstage with Sami Zayn, who doesn't have a preference on where he goes but he hopes he doesn't end up on the same brand as Kevin Owens as their match at Battleground should be their last. He also hopes Finn Balor gets the first pick from WWE NXT. More panel discussion and that's it for the pre-show.

Main Show

- Tonight's live WWE SmackDown on the USA Network kicks off with General Manager
Daniel Bryan coming out with Commissioner Shane McMahon. We're live with Michael Cole, Mauro Ranallo, Jerry Lawler and Byron Saxton. Bryan and Shane join RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon and RAW General Manager Mick Foley on the stage. Stephanie tries to quiet everything but a "yes!" chant breaks out.
Stephanie and Foley announce the first Draft pick for RAW - Seth Rollins. Bryan and Shane select current WWE Champion Dean Ambrose for their first pick. Foley drafts current WWE Women's Champion Charlotte. Shane picks AJ Styles. Foley selects WWE NXT Superstar Finn Balor for RAW next.

John Cena vs. Luke Gallows
John Cena's music hits and out he comes to a pop. Luke Gallows is out next with AJ Styles and Karl Anderson. Enzo Amore and Big Cass make their entrance next to a pop. The match starts off with Gallows taking control. Cole sends us to commercial but the match keeps playing in a box in the corner.
Back from the break and Gallows has Cena down. Cena catches a kick and hits a shoulder tackle. Cena slams Gallows and goes for the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Cena hits it but Gallows slides out of the Attitude Adjustment and drops him with a kick. AJ and Anderson get on the apron, bringing Enzo and Cass to the other side. All six men are in the ring now, Cena and Gallows down. The Club charges but Enzo and Cass dump them to the floor. Cena nails an AA on Gallows for the win.
Winner: John Cena

- We go to the announcers for discussion on the first 5 Draft picks, and tonight's WWE Title match. Still to come, Rusev and The Miz vs. Darren Young and Zack Ryder. Back to commercial.
- Back from the break and the bosses are on the stage. Foley selects Roman Reigns for RAW and says that pick shows he means business. Shane selects John Cena for SmackDown. Stephanie drafts Brock Lesnar for RAW. Bryan selects Randy Orton for SmackDown. Stephanie asks Foley for a drum roll and announces WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day for RAW and they will be staying together.

Rusev and The Miz vs. Darren Young and Zack Ryder

WWE United States Champion Rusev is out with Lana. WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz is waiting with Maryse, as is Zack Ryder, Darren Young and Bob Backlund. The champions take control of Young early on as Backlund looks on. Ryder comes in and drops Miz for a 2 count.
Miz turns it around and in comes Rusev for more offense. Ryder finally turns it around with a neckbreaker. Young and Miz tag in and go at it. Young gets the upperhand and hits a belly to belly. Young with a Gut Check for a 2 count as Rusev breaks it. The end comes when Ryder nails a missile dropkick to Rusev on the floor. Young gets the word from Backlund and applies the Crossface Chickenwing on Miz for the win.
Winners: Zack Ryder and Darren Young

- Still to come, Sasha Banks vs. Dana Brooke and Charlotte in a Handicap Match. Also, Bray Wyatt vs. Xavier Woods. Back to commercial.

Xavier Woods vs. Bray Wyatt

Back from the break and The Wyatt Family makes their way out. WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day are at ringside. Wyatt with mind games early on in the match. Woods looks to be in a trance. Wyatt gets up from his knees and talks to him. Woods looks to snap out of it but Wyatt unloads on him. Wyatt beats on Woods in the corner as Braun Strowman and Erick Rowan look on from ringside.
Wyatt keeps control and keeps a second senton. He keeps Woods grounded and taunts Kofi Kingston and Big E at ringside. Woods looks to make a comeback but Wyatt gets the win with Sister Abigail.
Winner: Bray Wyatt

- After the match, The Wyatt Family stands tall in the ring as we go to commercial.

Kane vs. Kevin Owens
Back from the break and out comes Kevin Owens yelling at the bosses on the stage. Sami Zayn's music hits and out he comes to brawl with Owens on the stage. They fight to the ring where Kane is waiting with a double chokeslam. Kane makes the ring explode and leaves as his music hits.
- We go back to the stage and Stephanie announces Sami for RAW. Shane drafts Bray Wyatt to SmackDown. Foley selects Sasha Banks for RAW and says every Monday will now be boss. Bryan pokes fun at Foley's obsession with the women of WWE and announces Becky Lynch for SmackDown. Foley picks Chris Jericho for RAW.

- We see video from the WWE Network second-screen experience with Ambrose talking about going to SmackDown. Still to come, Sasha Banks in a Handicap Match. Back to commercial.

Handicap Match: Sasha Banks vs. Dana Brooke and Charlotte

We go to the ring and out comes Dana Brooke and WWE Women's Champion Charlotte. Sasha Banks is out next to a pop.
Sasha and Dana go at it to start. Sasha ducks an attack and kicks Dana. Charlotte gets knocked off the apron as Sasha goes for a pin on Dana. Sasha keeps control and nails a double knees to Charlotte off the apron. Sasha turns around to Dana flooring her on the outside. Dana brings it back in and mounts Sasha with right hands.
Dana keeps Sasha grounded now. Sasha comes back and kicks Charlotte off the apron again. More back and forth. Sasha misses the Backstabber but regroups and goes for the Banks Statement. Charlotte runs in and ends up getting the win with a Natural Selection.
Winners: Charlotte and Dana Brooke

- We go back to the stage and Foley selects WWE United States Champion Rusev with Lana for RAW. Bryan says he hates to do this but SmackDown needs the Intercontinental Title. He drafts The Miz with Maryse to SmackDown. Stephanie picks Kevin Owens for RAW. Shane announces Baron Corbin for SmackDown. Foley calls Shane and Bryan "SAWFT" and announces Enzo Amore and Big Cass, together, for RAW.
- Still to come, Rollins vs. Ambrose for the WWE Title. Also, Cesaro vs. Chris Jericho. Back to commercial.

Chris Jericho vs. Cesaro

Back from the break and the announcers go over the picks. Chris Jericho makes his way out for the next match as Cesaro waits in the ring.
Cesaro knocks Jericho out of the ring with uppercuts and a clothesline to start. Cesaro with a big shot off the apron and a running uppercut into the barrier. Cesaro brings it back in the ring and hits a crossbody for a 2 count. Jericho makes a comeback for a 2 count. Jericho with a takedown. Cesaro counters the Walls of Jericho. Jericho goes on and hits an enziguri for a 2 count. Jericho slaps Cesaro around and keeps him grounded.
More back and forth. Cesaro goes to the top but gets crotched. Jericho climbs up for a Frankensteiner and a 2 count. Cesaro blocks a Codebreaker and hits an uppercut. Cesaro with more uppercuts in the corner. Jericho turns it around but Cesaro blocks the Lionsault with a Russian leg sweep from the second rope. Cesaro with a 2 count. Cesaro hits the Cesaro Swing now. Several more reversals between the two. Jericho nails a Codebreaker for the win.
Winner: Chris Jericho
- After the match, we get replays as Jericho makes his exit.

Natalya vs. Alicia Fox
Back from the break and Natalya is brawling at ringside with Becky Lynch as officials try to separate them. Natalya was set to have a match but Becky attacked her. Becky eventually heads to the back as we go to the stage.
- Stephanie drafts Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson to RAW. Bryan drafts NXT's "American Alpha" Chad Gable and Jason Jordan to SmackDown. Big Show is headed to RAW. Shane selects Dolph Ziggler for SmackDown. Stephanie announces NXT's Nia Jax for RAW.

- We go back to the announcers to plug the second-screen experience on the WWE Network and we see Rollins being interviewed on his move to RAW. Back to commercial.

- Back from the break and RAW selects Neville, SmackDown drafts Natalya, RAW drafts Cesaro, SmackDown picks Alberto Del Rio and RAW selects Sheamus. That's it for the TV picks, another 30 will be announced on the post-show and we will have coverage.

WWE Title Match: Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose

We go to the ring and out comes Seth Rollins. He greets Stephanie McMahon and out comes WWE Champion Dean Ambrose. We get formal ring introductions from JoJo but Rollins attacks before they are over.
We still have no bell. Rollins leaves Ambrose laying on the floor and comes back in to raise the WWE Title in the air. Back to commercial.
Back from the break and the bell rings. Rollins unloads and beats Ambrose down. Rollins with more offense before keeping Ambrose down in the middle of the ring. Ambrose rolls to the floor for a breather but Rollins follows. Ambrose gets whipped into the barrier but he backdrops Rollins over the barrier into the timekeeper's area. Ambrose jumps from the announce table but Rollins moves and he hits the barrier. Back to the ring now. Rollins with a springboard knee and a kick to the face for a close 2 count. Back to commercial.
Back from the break with Rollins still in control. Lots more back and forth. Ambrose ends up getting the win with Dirty Deeds after countering Rollins.
Winner: Dean Ambrose

- After the match, Ambrose celebrates as Shane and Bryan come to join him in the ring. We get replays as Ambrose puts on his SmackDown t-shirt and we see Rollins down on the outside. A big "yes!" chant breaks out as Ambrose hits the corners and the announcers run down the Battleground card. SmackDown goes off the air with Bryan, Ambrose and Shane celebrating in the ring.

WWE SmackDown Results - Six Pack Challenge, Randy Orton Wrestles, WWE NXT Stars Arrive, More

- Tonight's WWE SmackDown opens up with General Manager Daniel Bryan and Commissioner Shane McMahon backstage. They talk about how the show is all about the fans now and make their way out to Daniel Bryan's theme. We go to a new intro video and theme song.

Shane and Bryan enter the ring. The SmackDown roster is gathered all around the apron. Mauro Ranallo, JBL and David Otunga are on commentary. Fans chant for Shane and he thanks them. Shane talks about opportunity and announces that SmackDown will begin holding their own pay-per-views with Backlash on September 11th. Shane introduces the undisputed WWE Champion Dean Ambrose. Ambrose comes out to a pop and wonders who will step up to face him. Bryan announces a Six Pack Challenge for tonight. The winner faces Ambrose at SummerSlam. Bryan announces John Cena as the first entrant. Cena steps through the ropes and stands beside Ambrose. Bray Wyatt is in next, followed by Dolph Ziggler. Baron Corbin and AJ Styles are the last two. Bryan announces that the 6th spot will be filled by the winner of a battle royal, which is next. We go to commercial.



Battle Royal for the Final Six Pack Challenge Spot: Zack Ryder, Kane, Konnor, Viktor, Mojo Rawley, Simon Gotch, Aiden English, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Kalisto, Erick Rowan, Tyler Breeze, Fandango, Apollo Crews, Alberto Del Rio

Back from the break and the battle royal kicks off. Kane fights off Zack Ryder, Konnor and Simon Gotch. Gotch gets eliminated first. Kane eliminates both members of The Ascension. Kane stomps on Kalisto. Erick Rowan works on Aiden English. Uso and Alberto Del Rio go at it. Del Rio with an enziguri on Kane. Fandango is eliminated next. Jey Uso is eliminated next as we go to commercial.

Back from the break. English and Rowan were eliminated during the break. Del Rio eliminates Mojo and fans boo. Del Rio with a Backstabber on Crews. Del Rio gets eliminated. Kane dumps Breeze and Fandango. It's down to Kane, Ryder, Crews and Kalisto. Kane drops everyone and takes control.

More action between the four with finishers hit. Ryder works on dumping Crews. Kalisto comes over and helps Crews work on Ryder. Ryder fights them off and hits a neckbreaker on Kalisto. Action on the apron between Kalisto, Ryder and Crews. Ryder slips coming off the top. Kane gets up and tosses Kalisto over the top with one hand. Ryder gets up but Kane drops him. Kane boots Crews and splashes both men in the corners. Ryder takes Kane down and goes for the Broski Boot, nailing it. Crews gets a Boot as well. Kane tosses Ryder over the top with one hand. Kane grabs Crews for a chokeslam but it's countered. Crews dumps Kane over the top for the win and the spot in the 6 Pack Challenge.

Winner: Apollo Crews

- After the match, Crews hits the corners to celebrate as we go to replays. Crews goes to the floor where Renee Young is waiting. Crews says he's the happiest man in the world but he's not going to really celebrate until he wins the main event and goes to SummerSlam. Tonight's main event will be Cena vs. Wyatt vs. Ziggler vs. Styles vs. Corbin vs. Crews.

- We see Becky Lynch and Natalya walking backstage. Back to commercial.

- Back from the break and Dolph Ziggler cuts a backstage promo on how he got lost along the way, trying to steal the show every night, but he's getting back on track with tonight's main event.



Becky Lynch vs. Natalya

We go to the ring and out first comes Becky Lynch. Natalya is out next.

Natalya takes control early on and gets some boos. Natalya keeps control and keeps Becky grounded now. Fans try to rally for Becky. She fights out and rolls Natalya up for 2. Becky goes on and hits a clothesline and more offense. Becky gets fired up but misses in the corner. Natalya runs into an elbow. Natalya sweeps Becky onto her head as we go to commercial.

Back from the break and Becky unloads. Natalya counters. More back and forth. Becky comes off the top for a 2 count. More action between the two. Natalya with another 2 count after a German suplex. Natalya gets frustrated and yells for Becky to get up. Becky blocks the clothesline and rolls Natalya up, going into the Disarm Her. Natalya reverses that. Becky blocks a Sharpshooter. Natalya with the big clothesline for another 2 count. Becky ends up getting the win by submission.

Winner: Becky Lynch



- After the match, Renee interviews Becky in the ring but Alexa Bliss interrupts and starts cutting a promo. Naomi interrupts her and can't believe Bliss is running her mouth already. Carmella interrupts next and says SmackDown is about to get fabulous. Next, Eva Marie's music hits and out she comes as a voice narrates, praising her. She poses on the stage as the others look on from the ring.

- Still to come, the Six Pack Challenge. Back to commercial.

- Back from the break and they air a pre-recorded promo from Baron Corbin. He says he's going to win tonight's main event for himself.



- Maryse is in the ring with WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz for another episode of MizTV. She does the introduction for her husband and fans boo.

Miz reveals that the former world champion he's landed for tonight's guest is - The Miz. He sits down and pretty much interviews himself. Randy Orton interrupts and comes out to a pop. Fans chant for the RKO.

Miz welcomes Orton and wonders why he's here. Orton gives Miz props for his mic work and says clearly he's an expert in playing with himself. Fans chant "Randy" now. Miz gets annoyed and wonders why Orton is out here when he has a match with Brock Lesnar coming up. Orton says he's going to Suplex City and yea it will be a bumpy road but it only takes one RKO to send Lesnar's a** to Viperville. Miz says it's a shame Orton accepted the match with Lesnar because his first match back might be his last. Orton says it won't be his last and doesn't have to be his first back. Orton was hoping his first match in 9 months could take place tonight in Buffalo. Orton proposes a match against Miz for tonight. Miz asks fans if they want to see the match but says no. He says Orton doesn't just get a shot at the Intercontinental Title. Orton understands and says the title won't be on the line, just a friendly competition between old friends. Miz says he's not falling for Orton's tricks. Orton asks if he's scared to get his a** beat in front of his pretty little wife. Orton wonders who does the pitching and the catching in the relationship. Maryse runs her mouth to Orton and accepts the challenge for Miz. We go to commercial.



The Miz vs. Randy Orton

Back from the break and they go at it. Miz takes control early on and sends Orton to the floor, working on the shoulder. Miz launches Orton into the barrier and keeps up the attack on the shoulder before bringing it back in. Orton goes back to the floor for a breather but Miz follows. Miz whips Orton into the steel steps shoulder first.

Miz brings it back in the ring and Orton nails the RKO outta nowhere. Orton doesn't pin Miz and takes his time getting up as Maryse looks on and Miz is down. Orton stalks Miz and fans cheer. Miz gets up and Orton nails another RKO for the pin.

Winner: Randy Orton

- After the match, Orton celebrates as we get replays.

- Still to come, the Six Pack Challenge main event. Back to commercial.

- Back from the break and we get a video package for "American Alpha" Chad Gable and Jason Jordan. They want to be the faces of the tag team division and will debut next week.

- A local wrestler is in the ring waiting when Heath Slater appears. He lays the guy out and sends him to the floor. Slater is upset. He says there must be a mistake. He wonders how he wasn't drafted to RAW or SmackDown. Slater says if Bryan and McMahon want to lead SmackDown into the New Era, put him into the main event and make it a 7 Pack Challenge. Slater gets a "sign Heath Slater" chant going.



Shane comes out and says if Slater is looking for a job, there's a better way to accomplish that than interrupt live TV. Like send a resume. Slater plugs the WWE Network and that's his resume. Slater says he was the brains behind all of his stables and if he's given the chance, he can do so much more. Slater brags about being the hottest free agent. Rhyno suddenly appears from the crowd and comes up from behind. Shane says Slater is right, he's looking at the hottest free agent. Slater turns around and takes a Gore to a big pop. Rhyno celebrates in the corner as we go to replays. JBL reveals that Rhyno has been signed by SmackDown.

- We get a pre-recorded promo from AJ Styles. AJ isn't happy about having to qualify for SummerSlam and says he's the obvious choice. AJ says he will beat up the other Superstars in the match like he always does. Back to commercial.

- We come back and Bray Wyatt cuts a promo on tonight's main event. Wyatt says five men will fall tonight and soon he really will have the whole world in his hands.



#1 Contender Six Pack Challenge: Bray Wyatt vs. Apollo Crews vs. Baron Corbin vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. AJ Styles vs. John Cena

We go to the ring and Wyatt makes his way out. Apollo Crews is out next followed by Baron Corbin. Dolph Ziggler is out next followed by AJ Styles to a pop. John Cena is out last to a loud mixed reaction.

Wyatt attacks Cena to start. Corbin tosses Ziggler to the floor. AJ and Cena go at it now. Corbin and Wyatt go at it. We go to commercial with chaos in the ring.

Back from the break and Crews is being double teamed by AJ and Wyatt in the ring. Wyatt with a senton. Wyatt takes a bow in front of AJ and then the crowd. Everyone else is down on the floor. Wyatt floors AJ with a clothesline out of nowhere. Ziggler dropkicks Wyatt and splashes him in the corner. Ziggler with rights and a neckbreaker. Ziggler with the elbow for a 2 count on Wyatt. Corbin pulls Ziggler to the floor and drops him with a right. AJ with a running knee to Corbin from the apron. AJ springboards in and hits the 450 on Wyatt for a 2 count as Cena breaks the pin.

AJ drops Cena again. Crews with a trios on Styles. Corbin grabs Crews and slams him to the mat for a 2 count. Corbin gets frustrated and stomps on Crews. Corbin with another 2 count and more frustration. Corbin keeps Crews grounded now. Crews fights up and out but Corbin decks him and clotheslines him in the corner. Corbin keeps control of Crews and stands tall as we go to commercial.

Back from the break and we get two towers of doom from the corners. Corbin gets a close 2 count on Crews. More back and forth between Crews and Corbin. Wyatt breaks a pin by pulling the referee to the floor as there are no disqualifications. Wyatt with Sister Abigail on Crews. Ziggler with a Zig Zag on Wyatt. Ziggler covers but the referee is still down. Ziggler readies for Sweet Chin Music but Cena runs in and hits him with an Attitude Adjustment. Wyatt goes for Abigail on Cena but it's blocked. AJ with a pele kick on Wyatt. Cena with an AA on Styles for a close 2 count.

Crews comes off the top on Cena but Cena rolls through and hits the AA on Crews. Wyatt runs in and also takes an AA. Corbin is next but Cena can't get him up. Cena ducks a punch and nails the AA on Corbin. AJ leaps in and takes out Cena. Ziggler ends up getting the pin on AJ with a superkick.

Winner and New #1 Contender: Dolph Ziggler

- After the match, Ziggler celebrates as we go to replays. WWE Champion Dean Ambrose is out to the ring to a pop. They face off in the middle of the ring and Ambrose raises the title. We get more replays and out comes GM Daniel Bryan. He raises their arms and they pose. Commissioner Shane McMahon is out next to join them. SmackDown goes off the air with Ziggler and Ambrose having words.
