* JoJo is the ring announcer

* The Highlight Reel kicks off SmackDown. Chris Jericho talks about how he put Dean Ambrose in the hospital. He brings out his guest Sami Zayn but they're interrupted by WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz and Maryse. Jericho throws a fit, calls everyone id*ots and walks out. Zayn and Miz scuffle, leading to a match

* Sami Zayn defeated The Miz by DQ. Kevin Owens came out during the match to join commentary. He ended up interrupting the match and attacking Zayn for the disqualification. Cesaro ran out to make the save. He cleared the ring and held the title in the air while staring at Miz

* Backstage segment with AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. They tell Styles he needs to get a little extreme if he wants to beat Roman Reigns at Extreme Rules. Styles says it's time he had a little chat with Reigns

* The Vaudevillains defeated Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel. After the match, Big Cass came out to confront Simon Gotch and Aiden English. He took them both out with powerbombs, then gave one to Axel, and got a good pop

* Natalya and Becky Lynch defeated Emma and WWE Women's Champion Charlotte when Emma tapped to the Sharpshooter. Ric Flair was at ringside

* Styles finds Reigns in the locker room and asks if he's going to get involved in The Usos vs. Gallows and Anderson tonight. Reigns says he's the champion, so he goes where he wants and they are family, so he will do what he wants

* Rusev squashed Zack Ryder. After the match, Lana and Rusev celebrate until WWE United States Champion Kalisto runs down. He nails a corkscrew forearm on Rusev and runs back out

* Backstage segment with Fandango trying to show Goldust new dance moves. R-Truth and Tyler Breeze approach them and end up dancing together

* Darren Young approaches WWE Hall of Famer Bob Backlund and asks him to be his new life coach. Backlund says yes but Darren needs to realize wrestling is life. Their new catchphrase is "Make Darren Great Again"

* Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson with AJ Styles vs. The Usos with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns is next. Overwhelming boos for Reigns. Anderson ends up kicking Reigns in the face while he's standing outside of the ring. Reigns dives into the ring and all hell breaks loose. The match ends in a DQ and turns into a six-man

* Reigns and The Usos defeated Styles, Gallows and Anderson when Reigns speared Anderson for the pin. One of The Usos held Styles' legs so he couldn't break the pin. SmackDown ends with a staredown between Reigns and Styles

WWE Smackdown TV Taping Results For 5/12 *Spoilers*

* SmackDown opens with Dean Ambrose cutting a promo in the ring, about how he's even with Chris Jericho now due to Mitch and the light-up jacket being destroyed. Jericho's music hits and the lights go out. They come back on with Jericho already in the ring and Ambrose laid out. Jericho pulls out a strait-jacket and begins beating on Ambrose but doesn't put him in it. Ambrose tries unsuccessfully to fight back. Jericho DID put him in the straight jacket and proceeded to beat him before a bunch of referees came to help. Once separated, they couldn't get the straight jacket off, and Jericho attacked him one last time before leaving Ambrose in the ring. Jericho stands on the announcer's table and offers the crowd "the gift of Jericho."
* Rusev is backstage ranting about what happened on RAW
* Rusev defeated Sin Cara in a short match, with The Accolade. WWE United States Champion Kalisto was on commentary. Lana came out first and introduced Rusev as the next US Champion. Rusev controlled the early part of the match and just as Cara made a comeback, Lana threw water on Kalisto to distract Cara. Rusev went outside, kicked Kalisto in the back of the head and went back in to finish Cara. Rusev left both Lucha Dragons laying
* Renee Young interviews Emma backstage. She formally introduces Dana Brooke, who will face Becky Lynch tonight
* Dana Brooke defeated Becky Lynch. This was said to be not very impressive. Dana came out with Emma, using Emma's music. She controlled the early part of the match until Becky made a comeback but Dana won with a fluky roll-up off a distraction. The match seemed awfully short and most of the crowd was confused by the sudden ending
* RAW replay of the six-man match
* Backstage segment with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. AJ Styles approaches and promises to take care of Roman Reigns if he interferes in their match against The Usos tonight
* WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day are out to easily the biggest pop of the night so far. The Vaudevillains end up interrupting and we've got a singles match
* Aiden English defeated Kofi Kingston. Kofi started hot but English quickly took control. Decent back and forth action until Simon Gotch got involved. Gotch tried to get involved a second time but Big E and Xavier Woods stopped him. The chaos led to the referee ejecting Gotch, Woods and Big E from the arena. This led to Kofi being distracted and English getting the win with an assist from the ropes
* Backstage segment with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns and The Usos. Like AJ did with Gallows and Anderson, Reigns promises to take AJ out if he gets involved tonight
* The Usos defeated Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson by DQ. The Usos started off strong until Gallows grabbed a handful of hair from the apron to turn it around. Anderson and Gallows kept control for a while, even surviving a hot tag. This led to dueling chants for The Usos. The heels controlled a bit more until an Uso superkick led to another hot tag. The crowd was really getting into the match as The Usos ran hot until Gallows hit one with a steel chair for the disqualification. Anderson and Gallows stand tall after a beatdown with chairs, leaving The Usos laying. This was the best match of the night so far, basically tag wrestling 101 but the crowd was hot by the end
* Backstage segments with R-Truth building a selfie stick out of an actual stick with Tyler Breeze, and Fandango trying to teach
Goldust to dance
* They air a Life Lessons segment with Bob Backlund and Darren Young. Backlund asks Young what time it is on his watch and Young pulls out his phone to check. This causes Backlund to berate him for trying to make a phone call. Backlund assigns him 200 squats for disobedience
* R-Truth and Tyler Breeze defeated Fandango and Goldust. Truth started with Fandango but Fandango tagged out, leaving Goldust vs. Truth but they don't fight and fans chant "Golden Truth" at them. They still won't fight. Truth ends up tagging out to Breeze but Breeze lays him out. Goldust catches wind but Fandango ends up laying him out, allowing Breeze to get the pin. Officially Gorgeous Truth wins but Fandango and Breeze both beat Goldust down. Truth comes in for the save but also gets beatdown. Fandango and Breeze leave together as Goldust and Truth are left laying
* Another vignette for The Shining Stars (The Colons)
* Renee Young interviews Ric Flair and WWE Women's Champion Charlotte. Charlotte says what happened on RAW was a travesty. Flair promises Charlotte will retain at
Extreme Rules
* Cesaro and Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens and WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz with Maryse ended in a No Contest. Miz started with Cesaro. Cesaro teased the Swing but Miz escaped and tagged Owens. He came in and Zayn tagged himself in. Owens tried to gag out but Miz drops off the apron and Sami beat Owens down a bit. Cesaro and Zayn hit consecutive big moves on Miz after he tags in but the h eels gain control behind the referee's back. The heels control for a bit before Sami pulls out a desparation Blue Thunder Bomb but he can't get the pin. Cesaro gets a hot tag and takes out Owens and Miz. A Swing attempt on Owens is interrupted by Miz. Sami misses a Helluva Kick on Miz and hits Cesaro by accident. The match devolves into a finisher party as Owens hits the pop-up powerbomb on Sami and Miz hits the Skull Crushing Finale on Owens to stand tall and end the match in a No Contest. Owens recovers and tosses Miz back in the ring for the faces to make up. Cesaro hit a 32 second Swing on Miz and then slingshots him into the corner for a Helluva Kick from Sami. SmackDown ends with everyone cheering for Sami and Cesaro.

SPOILERS: WWE SMACKDOWN TAPING RESULTS FROM GREENVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA TO AIR 5/19/16

* The "Asylum" structure is hanging above the ring
* Kevin Owens defeated Cesaro with a roll-up when Cesaro was distracted by Sami Zayn and WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz, who had been on commentary.
Maryse was with Miz
* Dana Brooke dominated and defeated
Paige in a quick match. Becky Lynch was on commentary
* Dolph Ziggler defeated Sheamus. Baron Corbin comes out after and cuts a promo on Ziggler, saying he will kick his a** at Extreme Rules
* Chris Jericho comes to the ring and gets big heat as he knocks the crowd. The Asylum starts to lower around the ring. Jericho goes on with his promo until Dean Ambrose, disguised as a ring crew worker, jumps in the ring and beats Jericho around. Ambrose unloads with a kendo stick and stands tall
* New vignette with Bob Backlund and
Darren Young airs
* Big Cass and WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day vs. The Vaudevillains and The Dudley Boyz is next. Cass and New Day got big pops, Cass got a few hot tags and finally won with a pin on Bubba Ray Dudley
* WWE World Heavyweight Champion
Roman Reigns vs. Luke Gallows ends in a DQ when everyone brawls. The Usos, AJ Styles and Karl Anderson taunted each other all through the match, leading to everything falling apart. Referees break it up and Reigns is left in the ring with Styles. They grab steel chairs but swing at the same time and AJ drops his. AJ nails a pele kick and a chair shot to the back, knocking Reigns out of the ring. Styles stands tall to end SmackDown

** SPOILERS ** WWE SmackDown Tapings For This Week to Air On 5-26-2016:

* Michael Cole opens SmackDown in the ring with a Money In the Bank briefcase. He talks about Extreme Rules and has a guest, Dean Ambrose. Ambrose talks about The Asylum and how he destroyed Chris Jericho.
Kevin Owens interrupts and tells Cole to get the hell out of his ring. Owens says he is winning Money In the Bank. Sami Zayn interrupts and says the same thing, no one can stop him. Alberto Del Rio comes out and says he's going to become a two-time MITB winner. A brawl breaks out between Ambrose, Owens and Sami as Alberto watches from the ramp

* Alberto Del Rio defeated Zack Ryder in a MITB qualifying match. Del Rio won a decent match with the cross armbreaker

* Big Cass and Enzo Amore come out to a big pop. They cut promos but The Dudley Boyz interrupt. Enzo talks trash to both but it was hard to hear what he said due to audio issues. The segment leads to The Dudleyz backing down from a match

* Rusev and Lana are interviewed in the back. Rusev says Kalisto has no chance of beating him tonight

* WWE United States Champion Rusev retained over Kalisto with The Accolade in a good back and forth match. After the match,
Titus O'Neil hits the ring to make the save for Kalisto and challenges Rusev for the title but Rusev wants no part of it

* Natalya vs. Dana Brooke ends in less than one minute. WWE Women's Champion Charlotte, who was on commentary, interrupted the match and Natalya put her in a Sharpshooter. Dana and Charlotte double teamed Natalya before leaving

* AJ Styles is interviewed backstage and asked what's next. He simply says he doesn't know and walks off

* They air a Golden Truth video package

* Fandango and Tyler Breeze defeated R-Truth and Goldust with a roll up. The crowd chanted "what the hell?" at one point

* Seth Rollins comes out to a huge pop and cuts a promo. He says it's great to be back on SmackDown and asks if fans missed him. He can't say the same for the fans and the boos start up. Rollins walks off after a short 2 minute segment

* The Miz retained the WWE Intercontinental Title over Cesaro. Miz won with the Skull Crushing Finale in what was said to be an excellent main event. Miz and Maryse celebrated on the ramp to end SmackDown

* WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day kick off SmackDown but are interrupted by The Club. AJ Styles vs. Kofi Kingston is announced for later
Crowd was very excited for both. New Day spoke first recapping everything from Raw. They were doing their tag team champions shtick when Gallows and Anderson interrupted. They said that while the New Day come up with new catchphrases they would take the titles. New Day challenged them to come down but said they wouldn't come down without their pappy AJ. Styles came out and ran down Kofi. He said after 10 years Kofi is still laughing and it's because he is a joke. After Kofi ran down his accomplishments he had a good line saying it's funny because it took over 10 years for AJ to get here. Main event set up.
* Becky Lynch defeated WWE Women's Champion Charlotte in a non-title match by DQ when Dana Brooke interfered. After the match, Natalya and Becky beat Charlotte and Dana down
Good match. Lynch was very over with the crowd. Back and forth on the match and they teased Lynch going for submission several times. The dq was weak. Brooke was coming in to pull Charlotte to the ropes but didn't quite get there and the ref called for the bell. Natalya chased them into the ring but Flair and Brooke escaped through the crowd.
* The Dudley Boyz defeated Goldust and R-Truth, after a ringside distraction fromTyler Breeze and Fandango
Crowd was pretty dead for the match. Golden Truth did get a nice reception before and after the match. Pretty basic. Dudley's control. Hot tag. Distraction causes roll up for D'Von and that is it. Short promo for Breezedango after the match.
* Dean Ambrose and Sami Zayn defeated
Kevin Owens and Alberto Del Rio.
Crowd was in to this match. Very good contest. Heels worked over Zayn for a bit. Hot tag to Ambrose and then the heels worked him over. Owens was great on the outside waiting for the perfect moments to interfere and mocking Zayn during the match. Hot tag again to Zayn. Nice set up with Del Rio accidentally kicking Owens off the apron and turning in to the Helluva kick for the pin. Owens pulls out a ladder afterwards and gets ready to climb for the briefcase. Cesaro's music hits and he runs down to the ring and takes Owens out and climbs the ladder and takes down the briefcase. Huge pop for that.
* WWE United States Champion Rusev defeated Jack Swagger. Rusev attacked after the match but Titus O'Neil made the save
Similar to every other Swagger and Rusev match you have seen. Swagger did get in a lot of offense after a quick Rusev win was teased at the beginning after Rusev attacked before the bell. Swagger sat in Rusev's submission for a bit and they really built to the tap out. Crowd was really in to Swagger. Rusev did not let the hold go until O'Neil came down for the save.
* AJ Styles defeated Kofi Kingston in the main event. Styles used a Styles Clash to win while Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, Big E and
Xavier Woods brawled at ringside
A pretty good match. AJ really toned down the high flying moves being a heel. Kofi got a lot of the high spots. A good back and forth match with Kofi coming across strong. Kofi was distracted by the brawl on the outside. As he came back in the ring Styles hit the Pele kick in a cool looking set up and hit the Styles Clash to win. The Club walked up the ramp and talked trash to end Smackdown.

WWE Smackdown Recap (6/9): Ambrose Vs. Jericho, Enzo & Cass Vs. The Club, Becky Lynch, Dana Brooke
The Club is out to open the show. AJ Styles said that when he came to the WWE, he made sure to let the company know that they were a package deal. They talk a little trash, but Enzo & Cass interrupt, to a huge ovation. Cass calls Anderson and Gallows the "Mr. Clean Dream Team." Anderson says Enzo managed a Hooters, which Enzo confirms. Enzo says he wishes he could walk a mile in Anderson's shoes so he could be a mile away. Gallows says Enzo went to sleep on the job in his last big money match.
Enzo & Cass vs. The Club (w/ AJ Styles)
New Day joins commentary for the match as Anderson runs over Enzo. The Club work over Enzo on their half of the ring, hanging him up in a tree of woe as New Day put themselves over on commentary. Enzo snaps Karl Anderson's neck over the top rope and sends Gallows over the rail, but gets caught by Karl Anderson trying to make a tag. The Vaudevillains show up on the ramp as we go to a commercial.
Enzo hits a flying DDT and tags in Cass. Big Cass clotheslines everyone to set up a fallaway slam, splash in the corner and big boot on Anderson. Gallows breaks up the count after an Empire Elbow and gets booted out of the ring. The Vaudevillains come to ringside, but New Day make the save. All hell breaks loose and the match is thrown out.
Official Result: No Contest
Enzo and Cass and New Day stand tall to end the segment.
- Lana and Rusev are in the back, and Lana says Rusev hasn't been running from Titus because champions don't do that. Rusev says that he is a much better champion than Muhammad Ali ever was. Titus O'Neil pops up, and can't believe Rusev would mention himself in the same breath as Ali, and says he's taking the title.
Cesaro & Sami Zayn vs. Alberto Del Rio & Kevin Owens
Zayn hits several arm drags on Owens. Del Rio is tagged in and handles Zayn, but
Cesaro yanks him off the top rope after being tagged in. Kevin Owens leaves, then Sami Zayn follows and chases him away. Cesaro somersault sentons Del Rio as we go to commercial. Zayn drags Owens back out, but he and Del Rio get into it, allowing Cesaro to beat up Del Rio. Owens superkicks Cesaro, but gets suplexed by Zayn. ADR kicks Zayn, but Cesaro scores a pop-up European uppercut. Del Rio gets a double foot stomp, but Owens tosses him out and takes the pin.
Winners: Kevin Owens & Alberto Del Rio via pinfall (double foot stomp)
Becky Lynch (w/ Natalya) vs. Dana Brooke (w/ Charlotte)
Becky chases Dana out of the ring, but gets clocked back in the ring. Dana does a handstand elbow drop for some reason, then turns the tides on Becky again by dropping her head over the top rope. All of the women start going at it, and Natalya and
Charlotte get ejected. Becky Lynch applies the Disarmor and gets the win.
Winner: Becky Lynch via submission (Disarmor)
- New Darren Young/Bob Backlund segment. Backlund says he saves money by just wearing the same outfit.
- Dolph Ziggler comes out to do commentary on the next match.
Kalisto vs. Baron Corbin
Kalisto gets an enziguri before dumping Corbin over the top rope. Corbin punches
Kalisto and lawn darts him into the barricade. Kalisto fights back with a springboard body press, but eats End of Days. Corbin wins.
Winner: Baron Corbin via pinfall (End of Days)
- Sheamus is backstage with Zack Ryder,
Summer Rae and Golden Truth bragging that he's an A-list star. Apollo Crews shows up and clocks Sheamus.
Dean Ambrose vs. Chris Jericho
This is every Ambrose/Lesnar match you've ever seen. The action spills outside and Jericho catapults Ambrose off of an announce table onto the barricade. The two battle back and forth with the usual spot, except Jericho lands a nice second rope enziguri on Ambrose for a two count. Jericho picks up the win with a Codebreaker.
Winner: Chris Jericho via pinfall (Codebreaker)
Jericho tries to attack Ambrose with a ladder, but gets beat up so nobody gets over.

Dolph Ziggler on commentary. After the match, Corbin stares Ziggler down at the announce table
* WWE United States Champion Rusev defeated Kalisto. Sin Cara tried to stop a post-match beatdown but got put in The Accolade. Titus O'Neil made the save and brawled with Rusev, who retreated
* Backstage segment with The Club and WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day to set up AJ Styles vs. Xavier Woods
* AJ Styles defeated Xavier Woods by submission
* WWE Women's Champion Charlotte defeated Natalya in a non-title match. Dana Brooke and Becky Lynch had a ringside scuffle before the finish
* They brought ladders back out and aired a MITB preview
* Dean Ambrose, Cesaro and Sami Zayn defeated Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho and
Alberto Del Rio in the main event. Del Rio tagged in on Owens' back but Owens superkicked him. Owens then superkicked Jericho. Ambrose hit Dirty Deeds on Owens for the win. Ambrose celebrates to end SmackDown

* The Club confronted The Usos backstage to set up a match
* AJ Styles defeated Jimmy Uso with the Calf Crusher
* WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day defeated The Vaudevillains. The Wyatt Family confronted The New Day after the match
* Becky Lynch defeated Dana Brooke by DQ when WWE Women's Champion Charlotte interfered and Sasha Banks made the save
* Seth Rollins defeated Sami Zayn with a Pedigree in the main event. Ambrose was on commentary. The show ended with Rollins getting the upperhand on Ambrose

– The Wyatt Family cut a promo from the Titantron while New Day watched in the ring

Sami Zayn is featured in an backstage interview, followed by a segment with Charlotte and Dana Brooke

Dana Brooke (w/ Charlotte) defeated Becky Lynch
– Charlotte distracted Becky, allowing Dana to win via rollup. Charlotte and Becky attack her after the match, but Sasha Banks runs out and chases Charlotte away before putting the Banks Statement on Dana.

– Rollins won with a Pedigree. Dean Ambrose was on commentary for the match, and Rollins attacked, but ran away after Ambrose made a comeback and teased Dirty Deeds. wwe haven’t removed Roman Reigns from the Battleground graphic. There were “Where is Roman?” chants in the building.
