[Workaround available now] Jio tv old app expired

I have been using the old jio tv app for many days, since the old version works without switching to hotstar for star channels. But from last few hours, it is not opening, saying "tap on update to enhance your jio tv experience now". 

Is there any workaround to continue using it without updating? I don't want to update it and jump between hotstar and jiotv for star channels..

I am getting the same message on old version from tonight

Maybe old version is no more accessible

Yes, tried. Same message. Updated it finally with no other choice.

Good to see that the hotstar channels work now, when I last tried upating few months back, it didn't work...

A few errors also I noticed in the app. Channel v is listed as hd hindi gec channel, and there is a channel 'jio family day' which is unaccessible..

But no extra ad coming on live channels when redirected from jio play. Only ad breaks of the channel itself, which comes on tv is coming..

Now hotstar need to be used to watch STAR network channels.

+1 May Be Star is pressuring Jio TV to Close the oldest version so that people have no other choice left to switch to hotstar to watch star channels content

No problem for me as long as I am able to access jio tv via bsnl broadband
