Vodafone and Idea can easily blame govt for their own incompetent policies, just see how bad services they're providing right now. It's obvious that customer are moving every day for better.

They have not been able to integrate the network still, no VOLTE in many circles from Vodafone. Can they blame for this to govt also, who stopped them from paying the govt dues, these companies were always arm twisting govt and not paying taxes or required charges. Just see how many times Vodafone went to court to avoid the taxes.

There are many countries which have only 2 or 3 operators and giving decent services with moderate charges. I'm sure if that happens in India then excess usage of data will also stop. Just see what kind of nonsense is happening over tiktok and other social media platforms.
Look at US for example. Telecom situation is terrible because of lack of competitiveness

If you just want to say Vodafone Idea is offering bad service. Than you are being biased. Every operator sucks at some place or other. Thanks for shutdown of other telecom companies.

Well, my experience with Vodafone has been terrible in recent time otherwise I was use to be post paid customer for last 7 years and recently ported to Jio only after waiting for long to have at least VOLTE and proper coverage in middle of Hyderabad city.

I firmly believe that too much of data is spoiling the overall experience, companies should restrict the freebies unless they have enough spectrum.

Current prices are ridiculous for industry. Even that daily data cap is bad for users. For now we should move to ₹199 unlimited calling + 100 sms + 10 GB data for 30 days. With higher denomination plan and add ons for heavy users. Industry is saved without congesting network.

Exactly, Vodafone should opt this plan, they may face some losses initially but once network will stablize and improve customer will come back.

Now Vodafone Idea cannot compete with Airtel & Jio without Pan India Volte & 4G data without further investment, so they are blaming others due to their failure in merging networks.

In the US, T-Mobile has got approval from the FCC and Department of Justice for merging with Sprint. But several states are against the resolution and have filed an anti-trust litigation.

However the merger is expected to proceed, creating a stronger network that can match the two incumbents, Verizon and AT&T.

Vodafone Idea posts India’s biggest ever quarterly loss at Rs 50,921 crore on AGR hit

The company’s quarterly loss is worst ever in the history of India Inc. Before this, Tata Motors had posted a loss of Rs 26,961 crore for the December quarter of 2018.
