Root is a Linux term bro . It is somewhat similar to Administrator account in Windows. Bydefault in windows we operate normally as an administrator so we can change or modify anything in windows file system, that's why there are so much virus on Windows. But in Linux we operate as a standard user and this standard account cannot modify Linux system files, if you need to modify Linux system files then you need to have Root access. Only then Linux will allow you to modify system files. Android is based on Linux that's why there is root account. Without root access you cannot access Android system files and modify them.


With rooting you can uninstall OEM bloatware, Block in app ads, Change the way ur phone works, Change the functionality of buttons in your phone etc.

yes, in a rooted phone u can uninstall pre-loaded manufacturer apps which is major reason to do root

Bad side is that rooted phones allow malware to intercept your Phone network traffic with Banks as it can read all apps files so RBI has decided to block it
