As far as i know, chip based card is necessary to do transaction internationally. Govt. made rule about it as i received mail from my bank, during 2013 (i guess).

I hv chip based sbi visa global debit card. It does not not work in international sites. All international sites says invalid card. I am sure it is bcoz of mandatory OTP.
SBI virtual cards also does not work on international sites. Airtel payment bank mastercard debit card also does not work.
I hv contacted sbi cc. According to them international cards can be used to withdraw cash from atm in outside India but if site doesn't support otp then they cannot do anything. They said otp is there to protect against fraud so they can not remove this safety feature.
I have a doubt if I need to send 10000 Rs, can I send like 990 Rs x 10 times and 100 Rs at last = 10000 Rs or they have some restricted number of IMPS transactions
