Jio removed cricket plan for Rs 667 which is now closed fr new customers as well old customers. From today, Jio prepaid plans only have benefits about RS 10 - 120 cheaper than Airtel and Vi.

Trai plans for RS 364 with 25GB data for 28 days. You can search in the forum search about that. Someone also updated post.

Jio had applied the postpaid price hike to my connection starting this month. I have received the below message.

More than 200 rupees hike per month, considering I have 3 child numbers on my account.

@Siva bro, at least the hike is Rs50 per number or total 29% hike and NO benefits have been removed. My Rs199 plan was changed to Rs299 plan, that is Rs100 increase (for single number) or 50% Hike and the worst part is Unlimited 5G benefit was removed.

With Tariff hike protection of just 6 months in Postpaid plans, it is better to go for Prepaid annual plans, better yet buy extra packs to be used in queue (best option is buying as vouchers, helps during MNP). There is literally zero benefit in using Postpaid services in both Jio and Airtel.

i took advice from your another post and shifted my postpaid to pre. i was also on 199 plan which increased to 299. even that was ok until they removed the 5g benefit in december.

I never feel paying from pocket for postpaid is wiser one when you can recharge at your fingertip

Exactly bro.. Rs299 + GST x 12 months (Rs4234) is greater than Rs3599 annual plan, but still NO UL 5G is a very bad decision by Jio.

Earlier Postpaid had many benefits like Tariff Hike protection & specialized tailor-made tariff plans (at least in Corp plans). Now after arrival of Jio, Prepaid gained many many benefits like Recharge queuing (which gives best tariff hike protection), vouchers (you can activate at your will and sell to others, if you want to move to other operator), etc.

Nowadays Postpaid services are just a rip-off. The Family postpaid plans have so many hidden terms, the savings are not worth it, imho.
