All the best with your JioFi 2. I have used it for 6-7 months & it's a great device to have. I used to get quite a good battery life (10hrs+).

But I sold it off at 1150 last month (was it a good price?) as I gave my JioFi sim to my sister & I don't need a mobile data connection as I am at home mostly & my broadband issues are fixed now unlike before.

I hope you are getting good speeds. Do check my JioFi video thread if any speed issue.

Regarding that SMS query, you can't do anything as of now. Only way is Jio4GVoice.

Well yes bro, you got a good price since JioFi 3 is out now the price might go lower for JioFi 2 on offline stores as it has less battery. But yes, practically this device battery backup also good. The JioFi 2 device is bit little smaller which is another plus.

I am having 2 Jio already along with 2 Broadband service providers and Airtel 4G is lying idle though i recharge that too. Now exchanged unused dongle and bought JioFi 2. That's too much internet to use i guess, isn't it!

The speed is same as i get on mobile, no improvements. Only 7-8 Mbps

Hmm maybe that's the limit there. Try to place it somewhere where you would get good SINR. (Check video).
