Bought JioFi 3 device exchanging MTS dongle

I suggest download netvelocity app from Jio and check what frequency band you are getting on your mobile. If it is 2300 then I think even JioFi will work better there though this is not a guarantee as for me during day time the speed is around 40 KBps whereas during night it goes over 800KBps if connected to band40. Otherwise the speed is very low throughout.

Its really good you bought Jiofi 2. Jiofi 3 is bulky and also Display is bright and its ON all the time. the reason I went with Jiofi 3 is as I already have Jiofi 2.

UI for jiofi 3 is similar to 2 but not the same.. its again not that good looking. will share the pics once I reach home.

Please suggest if I should wait for Jiofi 3 or get the available Jiofi 2 in my local store. :huh

JioFi 2 is better in all ways, the 200 mAh battery doesn't make the device battery backup noticablely less, it might be minor only. Other than that, what you said its indeed a beast. You should go for the earlier version instead of big bulky one.

Jiofi 3 battery backup is Excellent. Jiofi 2 gives 8 hour. Jiofi 3 gives 14 to 15 hrs. If u want better battery backup i would strongly suggest 3.
