this tax proposal doesn't help me or the middle class,
they should have decreased the SLAB Rate for low incomes and tax the crorepatis more which this government had no guts to do.

So what u wanted. No tax for 12 lakhs PA. Or income tax to be abolished. The issue with India is that every one wants everything to happen right away and lack of patience

Finance minister has said that govt has enough money to fulfill this.

Also finance bill is to be passed by Lok Sabha and not by rajya Sabha in this session itself

i want the slab rate decreased from 20 percent for incomes below 10 lakhs an increase the marginal tax rate for people making more than 20 crores an annum to 70 percent

Didn't some say that the 10% quota on economic basis would be stuck down by court, they said it was a jumlas a gimmick etc

For better understanding i want to share small comparison.

When I pay income tax, why i pay gst on every product i purchase. Is that not considered as double tax? Today the cost of living is high and as per that the income tax has to be revised. Its bitter truth that the government is running only because of the middle class. The big companies evade taxes in many ways and this BJP government had written off loans worth crores and crores of these companies and we have seen many cases in the past 4 years especially that the looters and fraudsters fly away easily out India after cheating banks with heavy loan amount. So all these burdens are falling on middle class again. The same government said that they collected more than 1 lakh crore rupee in GST and in another statement they say that they do no have money for polio drops for childrens. Whom they are cheating? And there are people like you who blindly support BJP for whatever they do.... that's the sad part.
