As someone has mentioned, these broadband services are mostly handled by the LCO which might not be too friendly. For instance, my friend was forced to take a quarterly plan by the LCO else they wouldn't serve and mark the area as unfeasible if someone complained. But my city is not a big one and there are not many competitors anyway - Only Airtel, BSNL and Renu (a Kanpur based broadband) so they can do some arm-twisting.

In a family each member likes to watch different kind of content so if i take subscription of Gold or above plan can I access the OTT apps on mobile too along with STB ??

If yes, it will be wonderful otherwise all family members will be forced to watch same content on TV
Yes you can

my family is not familiar with ott service. I am ok with free 100 to 150 fta channels and some pay channels by add on if available like dth platform- if its comes with plan rs 399. Then I am ready to take this plan
I think they will provide JioTv+ app under 399 plan and if that so you will get to watch all FTA channels available.

Yes how does that 'calls' work through landline or jio sim? How does it work
They will provide you a landline number. Also you can connect that no. through your mobile by Jio Call app. By doing this you will get simultaneous calls on your landline and mobile. Both devices must be connected through Jio wifi

With these new plans I am excited to take my first Broadband connection. I just have few queries could anyone kindly help me with that.
1) 30 MBPS means 30 MBPS or 3mbps(Bits / Bytes)
2) Currently I have most OTT subscription (Hotstar, Zee5, Prime, Netflix). If I subscribe can i view individual subscription.
3). If I took 999 subscription, whether can I watch OTT on mobile (Jio subscribed Hotstar, voot, prime)
4) Any suggestion on good Landline(If I decided to buy Connection)
2. Yes you can login via your current subscription.
3. Yes once you get 999 plan, all OTT apps under the plan gets automated logged in over your STB. No need to login seperately. But you need to login on your Mobile device, yes you can access the OTT apps through mobile through this subscription

Looks like Netflix is also included in the free 30 day trial offer. They have updated it now.

Irony is that Netflix is still not available in Jio Fiber

Jio Fiber is not handled by LCO, it's a seperate thing.
