No with this plan you will get only few channels to watch. Forget Star, Zee, Colors, Sony, etc. If you want to watch all these premium operator's channels, you should opt for 999 plan, else go for 1499 if you want Netflix. 999 plan (₹ 1179), still looks good. Currently I was paying (₹ 1003) without Amazon Prime
my family is not familiar with ott service. I am ok with free 100 to 150 fta channels and some pay channels by add on if available like dth platform- if its comes with plan rs 399. Then I am ready to take this plan

So Jio fiber finally got a whiff of reality. Earlier plans were hardly competitive with local ISPs claiming undercutting Jio's tariff in every field. These plans are nice especially the 399 one (or 471 with tax) but I'm such they won't be around for a long time. Another issue is the lack of expansion. Airtel is rapidly expanding their offering even in smaller cities but Jio still struggles with expansion related issues.

Needless to say, Airtel will price match wherever Jio is the direct competitor.
One more thing is Airtel is not charging any security deposit due to which it has advantage on Jio for people who do not need Jio STB

With these new plans I am excited to take my first Broadband connection. I just have few queries could anyone kindly help me with that.
1) 30 MBPS means 30 MBPS or 3mbps(Bits / Bytes)
2) Currently I have most OTT subscription (Hotstar, Zee5, Prime, Netflix). If I subscribe can i view individual subscription.
3). If I took 999 subscription, whether can I watch OTT on mobile (Jio subscribed Hotstar, voot, prime)
4) Any suggestion on good Landline(If I decided to buy Connection)

in rs 472, we r getting 30mbps speed data & 4k stb, other than ott- can we get all / maximum channels like we getin normal dth stb ?
Or else use some live tv apps such as ---- as FUP barrier is now gone.

MOD Warning: Do not discuss pirated apps here. Pay for the service.

It's 30 mbps (mega bits per second). Which is equal to 3.75 MB/s (mega bytes per second).

Yes, you can. Also, ₹399 plan doesn't come with any OTT Subscriptions bundled.

I don't think so.
