I am now in Gold (Old) Plan for Rs 1299 + GST. This plan is removed now and introduced 1499 Diamond Plan, with addition of Netflix. In my opinion if we choose Jio for OTT apps it is great WASTE. In my area for Rs 699 Cherry-net offers 300 mbps unlimited usage. I think paying Rs 944 (800+GST) more is really not worth for OTT. Even if we pay we will get OTT apps for one screen only. Instead of choosing Jio, taking local cherry net and purchasing (only require) separate OTT subscription and enjoy in 5 screens.

What do you mean by 1 screen..? Except VOOT, all other OTT apps work on any devices. Just login through the registered mobile number.

Count other OTT apps as well. You are just counting Netflix here, there and many others infact all which you will get under the plan.

Yes. If you pay 150 more, you'll get standard. For 1920, you get all OTT apps with Netflix standard(2 screens). If you want, we can pay 300 more to get a diamond plan(4 screens).
Cherrinet provides only 150 mbps for 666rs.

What type of Netflix plan will Jio give. I currently pay 799nl per month which is the highest plan under Netflix. Is it worth going for Jio Fiber+STB for Netflix by discontinuing my individual Netflix plan.

With the Diamond Plan, you get Netflix Basic. You can pay 300 to upgrade it to Netflix Premium.
It will cost you 2070 incl gst for Jio Diamond + Netflix Premium. If you are already paying 800 monthly for Netflix,
then for net effective 1270rs (2070-800), you get 300 MBPS UL Internet with data and 11 other OTT apps. So it is definitely valuable.
