Friends I have installed the new V-Fiber broadband of Airtel. My plan is of RS.1099 with speed of 16mbps for 190gb ( 90gb regular quota + 100gb for selecting airtel which is valid for 3months). Here are some of the pics of the speed and my new modem.

Bro in his 3rd pic Speed test shows 17 mbps downloading speed ...

Ok the pic is not clear so asked :)

These airtel wankers have me stuck on my adsl at 16mbps 80 gb(+2gb) for 1349,now if I intend to change my plan to the 16mbps plans(same adsl speed) even for that they are asking to buy this modem for 1k.So stupid if they cant change my plan on same speed with same modem then ideally all modems must be replaced for free or else existing plans should have stopped working unless they still exist for existing subscribers. Also reading the back makes me worry that just like binatone this is custom made for airtel and wont work with any other isp later on despite them claiming it would.
Also my experience with airtel says if you use home networking like samba share/ftp better to use a separate wifi modem instead which I guess the OP is already doing.

congratulations Ankit Jain bro for your new connection. As it a Vfiber you should be getting around 40mbps for that plan.  I am on vfiber with the same modem.

Airtel today advertised that they have 100mbps plan available for Chennai but when I called 121 the rep has told that, the team is working on up gradation.
