Discussion JioCinema Premium subscription plan launched at ₹999 per year

I personally feel that Rs.999 is quite high.
Hotstar used to cost Rs.899, (formerly) including HBO, Hulu, IPL, Football, etc.
I feel JioCinema should have launched at Rs.499 or max Rs.599.

What do you bros think? Any chance of a price correction in the future?

What i would suggest is if you really want to watch succession fresh episode on same day as US do subscribe the plan as this plan will be effect even after official launch

If you are least cared about watching it then please do wait for ipl to end as you will get better plans including daily plans.

This plan is launched only because for succession it seems. As people started to write mails complaining that this was the final season and not to ruin it.

Also this plan is temporary named best of Hollywood. Later same plan will be replaced as platinum plan with no ads.

i think @Esmail has clearly explained about this. if the content is available in 4k it will be also available in jio cinema.

Yea. I saw lots of tweet stating that HBO shows in JioCinema are censored but nobody seems to show proof.

Let's wait till they announce it officially.

They might introduce 599 plan with 2 screens after IPL

Jio cinema follows the same policy like Disney+ Hotstar when it comes to number of screens. It will log you out of the 1st device when you exceed the number of devices included in ur plan. It's not the number of simultaneous streams like Netflix considers irrespective of number of devices logged in using the same id.
So if they launch a 2 screen plan and you have 2 TVs in your house and your mobile then only 2 of those will remain logged in at a time.

But jio cinema is free for jio fiber, i have purchased 8k pack. .
Why cant they give us.

They will give plan with ads for free once IPL is over dont expect to get 4K plan for free
