Underground cables were laid long ago. But they are not yet connected to the buildings. Recently they were opening the manhole covers and doing some testing. That's all has happened recently.

In my area they were opening those manholes and installing some orange fiber cables into those underground pipes they laid year back.

In my Kodichikanahalli Bangalore area also they have laid cables but no activity inside aparments yet
