Refund? No Refund will be given.Jio already gave 1 GB per 10 rs talktime recharge
If you are a Jio customer, go to 'my Jio' app and click on the know more option on the regulatory notice, you will find a link to a short video which explains about the Jio IUC charges, below that there is a link for the long 7 minutes video, click on that and scroll it ahead to the 6 minute 20 second mark and you will hear the Jio spokesperson clearly say that once TRAI removes the IUC charges and makes it zero, at that point whatever unspent talktime balance will be left in the account of the subscriber will be promptly returned to him in full. I'm attaching a screenshot of the official video for your reference.

Refund in what form?

Refund in what form?
Most probably as vouchers of the denomination equivalent to the amount of balance left in the account. These would be usable in the same way as the 50rs vouchers applicable on recharges done through my jio app but without the condition of minimum 300 value recharges or 100 value data topups, it would be usable on any denomination.
Coz if they were to hand out cash refunds at the Jio stores we would end up with long queues outside the stores similar to what we had outside banks at the time of demonetisation.

They should give Zomato like points. If we have ₹100 balance. We get to use that to reduce the amount on payments instead of any coupons with terms and conditions.

He said customer's accounts that doesn't mean in your bank account.

that 50 rs vouchers are useless for me. Having 40 such vouchers in my account.I always do 399,444,449 recharges from my account balance as i use many cashback site to recharge talktime in main balance which give me about 50-70% discount effectively that means 399 recharge in only 150 rs-170 rs, So till now i was paying just 150 rs for 84 days instead of 349 when you use that 50 rs vouchers. And i don't think they will give that vouchers without any minimum value recharges which would be applicable/usable with all Jio plans including Jiophone plan 49

It will be the same, fully usable on future recharges without any terms and conditions just like uber or Zomato balance. That's exactly what i said in my previous comment also.

If so then good for us but as i told in my previous comments also there is no official source/statement from Jio or any mentioned in that video that it will without any terms and conditions just like uber or Zomato balance or in which form they will give the balance is still unknown as they havn't mentioned the type of form in details

My current recharge will end on 12.02.2020. So will it be judicious for me to do an advanced recharge now or wait for this IUC fiasco to be over? If yes then what recharge? All in one or without IUC top-up plans?

Remember I have Rs. 45 in my main account and I don’t call much. Again I have 19 cashback vouchers in myjio app valid till 18.12.2019.

Expecting comments from fellow readers. No question of porting to any other brands as I’m getting good coverage and speed here at my place.

Wait till February no point recharging right now. By that time you will know whether IUC is staying or going. And if you already have talktime balance in your account then it's better you go for the normal non IUC recharge and when you fall short of balance you can just top it up as and when needed.
