A per Law the bowler is permitted to attempt to run out the non-striker, before releasing the ball and provided he has not completed his usual delivery swing,

Your screenshot shows Ash has not fully roll his shoulder so Question arise why did batter left without watching it ?

Check the video in this thread. It compares Ashwin's normal action vs what action he did to get buttler out. Also contains slow-mo.
The video and the replies in that thread should answer all your questions.

@Every1 Infact Would recommend all of you to watch this video to make up your mind.

Are you saying bowler is not permitted to change action in between over ? if that's the case then Kedar should be banned first.

Point is Ash had not completed his delivery so umpires were correct

I'm Ok with the law, batsman can't run 4 inches short, every ball. But in this instance, It did look like Ashwin deliberately slowed down to make sure Buttler goes out and then mankad him!! The more you watch that dismissal, the more you will feel this way. Moreover, these two were already involved in similar incidents in the past, albeit separately. For Buttler, I think it's a habit of not looking at the bowler when he is at non striking end, and he must change that habit. For Ashwin, he always looks to get the batsman out in this fashion whenever possible, and he is not wrong, but he should not deliberately do it though, which he did this time IMHO.

Everything is justified in luv and war if it stays within the contour of laws

Thanks for this bro, very good post as well as comments! This should clear everyone's doubts!

Even 70% Indians against Ashwin today.
Remaining 30% are KXIP fans and some have poor mentality that Buttler is a british player. Hats off to those guyz.

You need to read the reddit post to understand the dismissal better. Ashwin is not wrong here.
