That id*ot with DC is the other reason for loss of money to most franchises. He was literally bidding for everyone or increasing the price cap by entering in the middle!
Absolutely not. DC are the standout team at the auction. They had done a plenty of homework with a lot of players in mind with strict budgets. The sameway CSK or SRH did but for many players. Once they aren't gonna get him on the budget they had allocated, they are leaving the bidding which is a good thing to do. That's how they got steal of the day David Warner at such a cheap price. I doubt they were ever considering him in their initial plans. Lastly he isn't an id*ot, he knows what he is doing. That's how IPL auction should work.

For example, Many teams had let go of QDK at mere price but were bidding like 10cr+ for pooran which is id*otic. DC haven't had any involvement in that bid.

Yesterday SRH Spoiled the Fun
When they Raise Bid For Nicholas Pooran

I was Wondering that KKR will buy Nicholas Pooran @Rs 10.50 Cr
But SRH Spoiled it

And Also DC (Delhi Capital) Raise Many player Bid to New level

And also time factor is the key bro here, if QDK had come at time of Pooran, he might have gone for more pricing than Pooran. Same goes for Dhawan and Warner too..
