After seeing the IPL auctions so far, I guess BCCI has got it very wrong this time around with Purses. Especially as 10 teams are involved. They should have gone for bit more purse or atleast should have had the Retentions to maximum for 40 crores and have 60 crores for main auctions. At this rate most teams will barely be having quality Starting XI, if by any chance some of them are injured if they don't have some quality back ups, we are back in for another tournament filled with many one-sided matches which will be very bad.

Worst for me
1) KKR
2) RCB
Except for Hasaranga - a good player but overpriced in this auction - rest all buys are good for RCB. They have a settled starting 10 now...
I would rather place MI before RCB. They are the most silent team right now, just came in for Kishan, M Ashwin and two other uncapped pacers...

So true. A team like RCB could have easily bought back Chahal and DDP if they had a bigger purse..

I see most of the team just having 18-20 players.... Team needs to also plan for late arrival/ early exit of foreign players....

Plus point is lot of fringe Indian players will get a chance to play games in this IPL....
